My wife and I had a great time at Sawmill Market. We ordered pizza, pho, beer, and wine from four different vendors. They were all great for the price. The atmosphere was fun. We sat outside and they had staff to move and turn on heaters in the cold weather. Unfortunately they don’t seem to be dog friendly, they ended up letting us sit outside with our dogs but I don’t think they were technically allowed.
The atmosphere is cool, it was packed so there wasn't a lot of seating. Visually pleasing though, otherwise it would be a 5*. There's definitely enough to chose from, in fact if you haven't been, you need to walk around and see everything available, you will find something for sure!
Overall, this is a great place with a very festive New Year atmosphere. I would definitely recommend it to families, groups of friends, and larger companies looking to have dinner together. The vibe is lively, warm, and perfect for the holiday season. The main issue, unfortunately, is the service. I’m not sure why, but service seems to be struggling in many places here. I visited several spots inside the market, and with some of them it was very difficult to communicate at all. At a few locations, the attitude felt quite arrogant, and we simply couldn’t find common ground. On a positive note, the pizzeria is excellent. The guys cook pizza in a real oven, and I highly recommend it. The food is appetizing, flavorful, and high quality — truly top level. The overall food quality across the market is good. However, there were moments where service could be improved. The girl who served us seemed to be in a rush. I don’t want to say anything negative about her personally, but presentation and communication matter. I understand this place gets very busy, especially during the holidays, but maintaining a certain standard and saying goodbye to guests properly is part of good service. Guests don’t come “to visit” — they come to pay for food and service, to relax and enjoy their time. Unfortunately, not everyone seems to understand that. As for the sushi spot — it’s a small and decent place, but I wish the staff would communicate more clearly. For example, it would be good to warn guests that the salmon in the Philadelphia roll is lightly cured rather than fresh. I usually eat fresh salmon and often order nigiri, so this detail matters to me. Perhaps this is their standard approach, or they are not very deep into Japanese culinary traditions, but clearer communication would improve the experience. Overall, the atmosphere is perfect for a New Year visit.
I love seeing Sawmill market during christmas. The decorations were absolutely superb! Felt like I was near Santa's Workshop because of all of the many many decorations throughout. I even had Christmas movies playing in the main dining area.
Sawmill Market is one of our favorite places to visit as a family because there is something for everyone. With so many food choices, even our picky eaters were happy. All four of us ordered from different restaurants, and everyone found something they liked. In the winter it can be hard to find seats since everyone wants to sit inside, but the Winter Wonderland decor makes the whole place feel festive and fun. The free kids holiday crafts are a great bonus and keep the little ones busy while waiting for food. They have a whole Christmas Overall, Sawmill Market is a fun spot for families, especially during the holidays when everything feels extra cheerful.
