I had an incredible experience at Scherer’s Jeweler. After being told by another jeweler that my necklace was just 'scrap metal' and they attempted to purchase it from me, I decided to give Scherers a call. From the very first conversation, the staff was warm and welcoming. I explained what had happened, and the woman on the phone assured me that she thought it could be fixed. When I arrived at the store, I was greeted by a gentleman who took a look at the necklace. He mentioned that it was a little tricky but didn't think it would be too big of a job for them. I left the necklace there, and within a few days, I received a call that it was ready for pick-up. When I returned, the same gentleman who assisted me was there. He pulled the necklace from the bag, and I was thrilled with the results! It was absolutely perfect! The customer service was top tier, and I highly recommend Scherers Jeweler!"
We have been shopping here since Rich’s owned the store! Recently my daughter was gifted a cocktail ring from her grandmother. It was set in a very 80s look. We had scherer’s reset the stones in a band setting and she could t have been more pleased! Then my engagement rind band split after 41 years and I needed a new setting. I added two diamonds from Scherer’s and a few heirloom diamonds. What a stunning piece Erin helped me design. For both piecea she sent a rendering so we could make final decisions! The staff is the best. So kind and “where every knows your name” and cares about customer service!
10/10 experience for anyone looking to propose! I visited Scherer's a few times earlier this year to design an engagement ring, and it was a very smooth process. I worked directly with Chris Scherer to customize a ring, and he was patient in educating me on the different diamond cuts and band options available, and he even provided visual examples. The ring itself turned out better than I could've imagined, and my now-fiance LOVES her engagement ring. I would recommend anyone looking for an engagement ring or a special piece of custom jewelry to work with this locally-owned business! We are now looking forward to visiting Scherer's to design our wedding bands in the next few months.
I worked with Rich to fully customize an engagement ring and wedding band from scratch. He was extremely professional, helpful, efficient, and fair throughout the entire process. My wife and I are very happy with the final products. We highly recommend Rich and his team at Scherer's. Keep them at the top of your list!
We bought an engagement ring from an estate jeweler that I loved, but had issues with the construction of the ring. The diamond kept coming loose. Turns out I had a ring made from 2 parts of two rings and the setting was the wrong shape for my stone. I went to Scherer's for help after talking to friends about where they go. I spoke with Erin and she was great - answered all my questions and I was offered 2 plans to fix the ring. I decided to get the ring remade exactly as it was - and I am SO HAPPY I did. Its perfect. It's even better than it was before! I was so happy with the quality and more so the patience with the help in deciding what to do. Jewelry is pricy, yet I feel I got a fair price, especially for the great ring I got back. I would recommend anyone who is looking for new jewelry to check this place out, good selection. I would also recommend anyone looking for help fixing older pieces DEFINATLY go here, and check it out.
