Où la pratique devient une performance.
School of Rock à Towson propose des cours de musique pour les enfants et les adultes, transformant la pratique en performance. Les élèves apprennent les instruments et le chant, forment des groupes et se produisent sur scène, parfois accompagnés par un groupe maison. Le programme propose des cours flexibles en présentiel ou à distance, un personnel accueillant et des initiatives telles que le Summer Beatles Camp et des sessions Rolling Stones dirigées par le directeur général Erin Taylor.

The SOR Baltimore is an absolute wonderful program for kids and adults who want to learn how to play an instrument or learn singing skills. Anyone can go to regular music lessons and learn how to play but the School of Rock lets them take those skills they learned and do something with it. Ultimately they learn how to play with others in a band. It’s the coolest thing! they get to play with others who also have musical talent and work towards a goal which is the performance show and if your really good they have a house band that play together regularly at music venues. It’s every budding musicians dream. It’s so cool! Highly recommend. The staff are all amazing and knowledgeable and we have had nothing but a wonderful and positive experience.
I love the knowledgeable, patient staff at SoR Baltimore. They encourage and push me to do better and step outside my comfort zone. I love the availability of lesson times and the variety of forums (in person or virtual) to suit my needs. I love that they encourage students to join a band to put the students’ hard work front and center.
My son has improved greatly since joining a few months ago. Adam is a fantastic teacher who motivates and inspires! The staff are warm, friendly, and super accommodating. We love School of Rock! Can’t wait to see our son on stage in a few months for his first performance!
School of Rock has been a most amazing and inspiring experience for my 12 year-old son! He is a beautifully unique kid who does not participate in sports; often feels excluded with middle school friends. School of Rock has provided him an opportunity to connect with kids who share his interests and his passion for music. A special expression of gratitude for the General Manager, Erin Taylor, who has facilitated this experience with enthusiasm, encouragement, and kindness.
L'autre soir, pendant que je préparais le dîner, mon fils était dans une pièce en train de fouiller mon iPod et de jouer autant de chansons des Beatles qu'il pouvait, tandis que ma fille était dans une autre pièce à apprendre des morceaux des Rolling Stones à la guitare. Mon fils avait participé au camp d'été Beatles de la School of Rock et il est encore tellement émerveillé par l'expérience, voulant y retourner l'été prochain. Ma fille, une 'vétérane' du School of Rock ayant participé pendant au moins trois ans maintenant, se prépare pour son nouveau programme des Rolling Stones pour l'automne. School of Rock lui a offert un endroit où elle a pu devenir une personne confiante. C'est une zone de confort pour elle. Sans oublier qu'elle est devenue une très bonne guitariste et qu'elle a la présence scénique de Keith Richards !
