We run the Deep Ellum Outdoor Market. Anthony stopped by and offered us a large pizza for a review. They made us half and half the Philly Cheesesteak and the Special White. I’ve never had either one before. Frankly, I’m a traditional pepperoni and extra tomato sauce person. These were okay. I feel like the crust should be crisper. I do think that would help. I love that Serious Pizza is open super late!! That’s being a good neighbor and is an asset to Deep Ellum.
Wonderful experience. Staff was kind; restaurant was clean. I would recommend thinker napkins and something to go on the tray. Pizza was food but not the greatest. It was huge and I enjoyed it immensely.
2nd time and still great. Despite busyness on Saturday night they got the slices out fast, as always the cheese is superb and the sizes are fun. Mixed drink was little weak though.
Had to try this place out. It had a huge screaming pizza on the outside of the building. Glad I did. The 2 pizza makers were extremely friendly. We talked about how much Deep Ellum has changed. 🍕 was great! Would recommend you give this local spot a try.
serious pizza , yes , returning ? definitely .. this is the best pizza i’ve had outside of NY , amazing pizza only got the slice but it was well baked , toppings evenly topped . and none of the toppings over powered the other it was very flavorful . we got the garlic alfreda, mozzarella, roasted red pepper , banana pepper , mushrooms with italian sausage and cilantro but it was missing on the pizza not a big deal though .. the pizza was the so good definitely worth the visit . there was barely anybody in the resturant at the time but there is good amount of seating , abd clean .. staff are nice but was not welcomed or greeted upon entry but they did provide great service and made the pizza well . i asked if i could take picture f the 30’ but they did not have any as the ones they do have are used for single slices . overall great experience
