When I spoke with her paralegal she was efficient and helpful. The response time to my questions made my experience more valuable. Please consider this firm if you receive a speeding ticket in VA. I decided to work with Shannon & Associates out of the many unsolicited mailers I received after getting a speeding ticket in Virginia. Yes it cost more than the ticket ($381 vs $190) but they were confident it would be dismissed if I take the safe driving class and it allowed me to avoid increased insurance rates. The initial discussion was quick but there was no doubt it would be dismissed and directions were shared. Ultimately it was dismissed but unfortunately for me, the communication was a bit slow and as a result, I spent the money and time taking the safe driving class when I didn’t need to as my ticket was dismissed immediately after the contesting message was sent to the court (I didn’t find out about it until a week after the firm was notified). So it ended up as they expected but communication could have been more timely and it would have been nice if they offered to cover the cost of the class that ultimately wasn’t required for me.
