We hired Shannon to help us move locally in the greater Bay Area. They were fantastic and professional throughout. Our move was complicated by the destination being on a small road that wouldn't support a large moving truck. The team shuttled all our items (with great care) in a van from a main road to the destination and unloaded them. They must have made 15+ trips back and forth in the van to the main truck but the team handled with grace, good energy and care. I highly recommend the Shannon team and will be hiring them for any other moves I do.
Shannon movers did a really great job. They got here on time. They taped everything up and made sure everything was shipped safely. They were very polite. They worked hard quick and they took care of our belongings so thank you. Will definitely use you again.
The team at Shannon makes moving about as pleasant as it could possibly be. My family has used them multiple times at this point for full house moves. Their packing skills are impressive and they do a great job labeling boxes, making unpacking much easier. I highly recommend Shannon Moving & Storage!
Shannon Movers made my move SO easy and stress free!! I connected with them a few weeks in advance and I really appreciated the quick, thorough response and quote. They offer a cash discount as well as services to take items to the dump (for a fee). It was this that set them apart from the other companies I had contacted and in my heart I knew these were the movers I wanted for my first time using a a moving company! I moved the first weekend in October and upon arrival the moving team was very kind and informative. They both gave me props on how well I packed which felt good to hear after spending weeks packing haha. They were quick, efficient, kind, and treated all of my items with utmost care. I was thoroughly impressed with their skill level and how they packed the truck (I took a peek and it was like a large game of jenga). They moved me out of my small studio quickly, and up two flights of stairs into my new studio just as quick. The move started at 9AM and ended around 1PM - it was magical to have the rest of the day to relax after moving. I highly recommend this company and crew!!! I would definitely use this service again. Because I needed to store my belongings for an unknown period of time while looking for permanent housing, I explored several options—including PACK RAT, a larger corporate moving company, and Shannon. From my very first conversation with Fiachra, the choice was clear. He was transparent, easy to talk to, and laid out a pricing structure that was fair and straightforward—no hidden fees or surprises. For example, he estimated that I’d likely need two containers but might need a third, which motivated me to pare down during pre-packing. In the end, everything fit perfectly in two! Communication was excellent every step of the way. On moving day, Roberto and Julio were fantastic—efficient, professional, and courteous. I asked them to pack a few fragile items I didn’t want to deal with myself, and they handled everything with great care. Shannon Moving offers the best of both worlds: the systems and capabilities of a larger company (auto billing, GPS tracking, etc.) with the personalized service of a smaller business—real people who answer the phone, respond to emails, and genuinely care about your experience. I’d definitely use Shannon again and highly recommend them to anyone planning a move.
