Just okay. I made the mistake of going with the recommendation of the bartender. Bang bang chicken is chicken nuggets over white rice. Dirty rice I don’t think so. White rice with an orange bang bang sauce. Definite healthy Portion, but the 4 ounce plastic cup of red wine for $13 was unnecessary. Won’t return. And outdoor seating only. Be prepared if the weather is cold or rainy. No other options.
My friends and I ate here after skateboarding, it was our first time and it was great! the outside chill area and inside are both chill and a vibe without trying too hard. The 3 guys running the place were super cool and nice and made the food fast but with love! The food tasted incredible! as I got the bang bang chicken bao bun the flavors were savory and refreshing, loved the ingredients and depth. Mike especially was dope thank you for serving us with great food and good vibes!
Yo, if you’re ever in downtown Saint Pete, you got to stop by Shiso Crispy. ANYTHING on the menu is fire. I personally like the Bang Bang Chicken Bao Buns and Dirty Rice. I promise it’s gonna bring you right back here so you can thank me. Don’t forget to come back here and thank me.
Shisho crispy has delicious amazing decadent food! The chicken is next level with the perfect amount of crisp. The ahi tuna is divine. The bao buns are incredible and let’s talk about the phenomenal deserts. Banana cake wowed me. The coconut pistachio cheesecake was a delight as well. There’s are finely devoted dining room but you go out back and buy the food from a muraled food truck. There’s staff is friendly and they are quick even if it’s busy. I loveeee itttt
The food was too saucy, like overly saucy and the rice at the bottom had even more sauce. I got the bang bang chicken and it was really crispy and overly saucy. The chive and cream cheese rations were mediocre at best and will say that easily the best thing we got, were the spring rolls and even those were a bit too mushy inside. The rice had even more sauce on it than the chicken. It was just too much The taste was funky and overly sweet. I did not enjoy my food and ended up leaving over half and we ended up eating somewhere else. It’s all taste preferences and I supposed I was expecting authentic and this is definitely not authentic. I would also say the chicken is overly crispy. Also, the people taking orders are quite rude and unpersonable. Just seems like they hate to be there taking your order and money. it’s like ugh bc why work there? I guess customer service is dead
