Wonderful resort in the Hill Country outside San Antonio. If you’re going to stay here, stay on the child-free Seventh Floor. You’ll meet the charming and bright Marcela at the lounge there and enjoy a few drinks and a snack or two. I recommend dinner at Signature. The food is wonderful and the service is excellent.
We stayed at Signia by Hilton La Cantera Resort & Spa for a short vacation and had an absolutely wonderful experience. Every touch point exceeded our expectations. We arrived late, and Jose at the front desk was incredibly helpful, kind, and knowledgeable, which made check-in seamless after a long day of travel. Breakfast at Fireside Café was fantastic. Eric was amazing and checked on us several times, making sure we had everything we needed. Ruben at the omelette station was super friendly and patient, and the food was delicious. We later returned for dinner, and Christina took such great care of us. She noticed we had kids and went above and beyond by checking in often, asking their favorite colors for straws, and being genuinely kind and attentive. The hotel itself was perfect for our family. Our littles absolutely loved the roller skating, the room was clean and comfortable, and we had a great view. This was such a relaxing and enjoyable stay, and we will definitely be back.
I came to celebrate a new beginning and definitely be back, from the start with the valet the young guy was very polite and welcoming. Met Andre’s at the Sant Fe Kitchen ( Bar) kind and professional, had booked a massage at the Spa which was outstanding so I asked Andre’s where it was located was kind enough to walk me there. Called the front desk asking if I needed reservations for dinner at the Cafe she said no, when I get there they tell me the opposite and had to be sit at the bar but the talked to Cody ( manager) and he made things happen. Checking out I met Edward ( bell man) very professional and friendly. More hotels need bellman like Edward. Will be back to visit with Andre’s at the bar and visit the Spa . Food was great, room was cozy and Spa was outstanding .
We arranged a block of rooms for the weekend of my son’s wedding. I must say, the hotel was excellent in every way. The staff was accommodating and extremely helpful, they made this an extremely pleasant experience. Although every staff member with whom we interacted was excellent, Zarelda Marrero of the meeting and events staff and Vera Rodriguez, group room coordinator, were excellent and particularly helpful. The rooms were clean and recently remodeled, I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Great experience!
Check In - Nov 8, 2025 Check Out - Nov 9, 2025 (Late Check-Out) - My husband and I stayed for one night on the Club level floor in RM# 7158, which is right next to the club lounge. It was very quiet except for one moment where a group of people were extremely loud walking by. The club level lounge & everything inside (except alcohol) is included if you stay on this floor. Throughout the day, you can grab snacks, water and soda and during happy hour they had charcuterie and free select wines. There is a section off to the side with a comfy couch where you can watch TV and tables by the window with beautiful views of San Antonio! - Our room was really nice. The beds, pillows, towels and robes were all soft and comfortable! This room is slightly above average to other hotel rooms we've stay in. The number one complaint I have about this room and every other room I've stay in is there is no towel hook next to the shower, the hook is next to the toilet... I think it's weird. lol - The lobby is one of the best lobbies I've seen. It's very large and open with a big fireplace that feels so cozy! The check in desk is hidden behind the fire place which is really nice because the lobby doesn't feel crowded. The courtyard right outside the lobby is BEAUTIFUL! Especially at night with all the firepits on! - The resort itself is really big with 5 pools, a spa, multiple bars and restaurants, 2 gyms, and I'm sure there's more lol. One of the pools is for kids with a slide and a shallow area. - We only ate at Sweetfire Kitchen. Dinner was delicious and our server was SO friendly! Brunch was not impressive though. But our server for brunch was also very friendly! Give them both a raise!! - Listed here is how we were able to stay & eat for free... Card: Amex Hilton Aspire Room - used free annual night($400 credit), and got upgraded to the club floor due to diamond status that comes with the card ($150 credit) $200 semi-annually from card benefits Dinner - Used $100 resort credit Brunch - Used $100 resort credit +$30 that came from hotel for being Diamond members No Parking fee
