Extremely disappointed with my experience with this company. This business provides very poor service! I paid a $450 deposit in April 2025 for outdoor cushion repair and covering I still don't have the cushions back 8 months later and the business owner ignores any communication. I would definitely avoid doing business with Sim's Furniture Restoration.
STOLEN MY OTTOMAN. I dropped my ottoman off in Feb for recovering. I paid $200 and agreed pick up in 6 weeks. Fast forward 7 months and I still have no ottoman, no refund and now no communication. I have requested the ottoman back in its original condition if the upholstery cannot be done and still can’t get hold of Geoff to pick this up. AVOID AT ALL COSTS
Run do not walk away from this crook. I am appalled at the complete nonprofessional and ridiculous business this is. Geoff has had my chairs for a year and an antique throne both of which he has not only charged for expensive fabric but has yet to return them to me completed. Month after month of promises and now for the last 60 days he won’t return my calls or messages. Do not trust this business under any circumstances. I am considering my next actions to recover my property.
Geoffrey did a great job reupholstering my two sofas. They look amazing. Geoffrey was friendly, helpful with fabric selection and met the Xmas deadline! Thank you so much. Can definitely recommend.
Geoff re-upholstered 8 of our outdoor bar stools. Very happy with the work. Neat and expert craftsmanship. Good service, easy to communicate with, available to chat, showed us a large range of fabric options, and pick up and drop off was a major bonus. It was not easy finding local upholsterers (nor any one readily keen on re-upholstering these stools) so we were fortunate Sims furniture was so willing and able to take on the work.
