Can never fault SK:N when it comes to laser hair removal. I've had 2 rounds of treatment now for bikini, underarm and legs and it's always such a great experience. At my most recent appointment, Stephanie made me feel so comfortable, reassured me and was very quick, so i'm actually looking forward to future appointments now
Filled in form online and promptly received call back to book in my appointment. I was offered appointment next day and paid £50 deposit. A few hours later, I received a call from the Cardiff manager Steph to say that she had rebooked my appointment as "the doctor can't have any gaps in his schedule". Her whole approach suggested that it was somehow my fault that there was a gap in the diary. When I confirmed that I could not make the new time, Steph said there were no other options but to cancel. I said that I had only made the appointment a few hours ago and she said that was not her fault and that they have issues with their call centre not booking time correctly to avoid clinical gaps. I pointed out that I was a first time customer and that this was a terrible example of the company - she again repeated that it was not her fault. I asked for a discount off the rescheduled appointment and she refused. She reluctantly agreed to ring the doctor and see if he could adhere to my booked time. I had to call back to confirm if my appointment was going ahead. She said it was not possible and that my deposit would be refunded in 28 days. I said that was not acceptable given this whole scenario was the company's fault and she said it was out of her control and had no autonomy to issue the refund any sooner. I hardly ever leave Google reviews but I am so shocked by this experience. Steph confirmed that she was the store manager after I enquired several times if I could speak to someone else - as I couldn't believe that the most senior person in any clinic would treat a new client in this way. Her attitude was appalling and it was completely unprofessional to criticise the call centre directly to me. I will complain to head office but please avoid this clinic. I will be looking elsewhere in Cardiff for mole mapping as I do not have any confidence in this clinic based on my experience. I would rather pay more elsewhere and receive professional customer service and courtesy.
I’ve been going to SK:N for my laser hair removal treatments and I honestly couldn’t be happier with the experience. From the moment you walk in, the team makes you feel comfortable and well looked after. The level of professionalism and care they show is outstanding. A special shoutout to Stephanie, the manager, who always goes above and beyond to make sure everything runs smoothly and that clients feel valued. And Teona, the senior operator, is absolutely amazing; she’s skilled, patient, and makes every session as easy and comfortable as possible. I really appreciate the warm, friendly atmosphere and the consistent high-quality service I’ve received. Thank you to the whole SK:N team for your great work, I can’t recommend them enough!
I’ve been receiving on-going treatment at the SK:N clinic since 2021. I’ve found their facilities to be fantastic, their staff friendly & their doctors highly skilled. Would 100% recommend.
I’m really happy with the service at this clinic! The staff are so lovely, professional, and always make me feel comfortable. They explain everything clearly and are very helpful with any questions I have. I’ve seen great results from my treatments and couldn’t be more satisfied. Highly recommend to anyone looking for quality care and amazing service.
