I’ve been training with Dylan for a month now after my last trainer left the gym. His workouts are incredible. Dylan took the time to listen to what my goals are and created a full bespoke programme carefully crafted to meet my exact fitness goals. He is an excellent at explaining form and technique to prevent injury and get the most out of every rep of every set we complete! I would highly recommend working out with this dude!
Free trial is a scam. It’s 25 dollars to do one day, or you can sign up for a month to month contract which will cost you 200 dollars. Another gym that doesn’t give customers a chance to try before they commit, as a frequent gym person who spends a lot of time in the gym, I want the opportunity to pay for a week or month trial to see if it’s going to work for me. A yoga studio by me gave me 30 days for 30 dollars (which is generous a week would be great for me to get a feel for the place), but I ended up joining for 6 months because I loved it so much. If you have a great gym you shouldn’t need to grab 200 dollars for someone to try it out and a day isn’t enough for someone like me that spends so much time in the gym.
I'll preface this review with this is based on an initial tour and workout at the Snap Fitness in Glenwood Park. I met the manager Matt, who was very welcoming and gave a comprehensive tour of the gym. It's a simple, no frills gym but it has all the equipment I need. Matt introduced me to the workout classes that are complimentary to the membership - which I look forward to taking advantage of. I tour at a peak hour 5:30/6pm ET. There was always a treadmill or stairmaster available - and even at least one squat rack available as well. Look forward to more work outs at Snap Fitness - Glenwood!
Very welcoming first day. Lauren was super sweet and gave us a great tour. Great weight room and overall training area. Love that it’s 24/7. The day pass was convenient and I’ll definitely be back :)
Snap Fitness is a solid choice for people who want a clean, no-frills gym that’s open 24/7. It’s especially great if you’re looking for flexibility in your schedule or if you travel often and want access to multiple locations. Pros: • 24/7 Access: One of the best features. You can work out whenever it suits you—early mornings, late nights, weekends. • Clean and Well-Maintained: Most Snap locations are well-kept, with clean bathrooms, equipment, and floors. • Friendly Environment: The atmosphere is more relaxed than some high-pressure gyms. Staff are usually helpful and not overbearing. • Efficient Layout: While not massive, the gym typically has everything you need—free weights, cardio machines, resistance machines, and functional fitness zones. • No Crowds: Since it’s not a big box gym, it’s rarely overcrowded.
