I recently attended a lovely wedding catered by Société Traiteur, and the experience was delightful from start to finish. From the moment the first appetizers came around, it was clear that these weren’t just dishes — they were little works of art. Everything tasted incredible, beautifully plated, and felt thoughtfully put together. The service team was very attentive without ever feeling intrusive. They were warm, welcoming, and seemed genuinely invested in making sure everyone was having a great time. Based on what I experienced, I would absolutely recommend Société Traiteur to anyone planning a wedding or event. And honestly, after seeing what they’re capable of, I’m seriously considering them for a future event of my own.

We honestly cannot thank Société enough for the incredible job they did catering our wedding. From the very first meeting to the big day itself, everything was seamless and that’s in huge part thanks to Marie-pier and Frédérique, who went above and beyond to make sure every detail was perfect. They were so organized, calm, and kind, and made the whole planning process feel effortless. On the day, Fred made sure things ran smoothly without us ever having to worry about a thing. The canapés and cocktail hour stations were out of this world. Each bite was delicious and beautifully presented you could really taste the care and creativity that went into every dish. The bar staff and waiters were also exceptional and so friendly, attentive, and professional. They made everyone feel taken care of! The dinner was seamless! The interval between courses was well timed and the dishes were perfect! Société truly exceeded every expectation. They brought such elegance to our celebration, and we feel so lucky to have had them as part of our day. Thank you to the entire team, you made our wedding feel so magical and stress free!

I loved Societe from start to finish! Honestly, I can't say enough about this team's attention to detail and dedication to making our vision come true and our wedding even more special. First, let me start by thanking Marie-Pier, one of the owners, who was always in constant contact with me, cc'd on every email, and made sure we were always a priority. She truly runs a tight ship, and her level of professionalism in this industry is, in my opinion, unmatched! She and her husband run, hands down, one of Montreal's best catering services, and I've used many others. Next, we absolutely must mention Frédérique (Fred). She was an incredible powerhouse, a total professional. She was always answering every call, email, or text immediately. We have very similar work ethics, and I don't think I've seen someone work harder than her. She truly took amazing care of us, ensuring our event went smoothly on the day of, along with the rest of her team. They say it takes a village, but if you have Fred in your corner, all you need is her! She ensured the setup of our stations was perfect, coordinated with our rental company, and even helped us source materials we needed. She executed flawlessly! Now, to get to the bulk of what this team does: the food! We are still getting compliments from our guests three weeks later about how incredible it was. The canapés they passed around were the best any of our guests (including ourselves) have ever had. The sushi and tartare stations were so fresh and vibrant that there was a constant line because people couldn't get enough! A definite 10/10 you need to choose their canapés! They even made sure, without us even having to ask, to put some canapés aside so we could try some after we finished greeting our guests. The reception also went off without a hitch. We had a 145-person wedding, and everyone was served within what felt like minutes for every course! The meal featured burrata salad, homemade pasta with three sauces, and braised short ribs cooked for days that were so fork tender I swear just looking at them would make them fall apart! Everything this team did from start to finish was amazing. Many of our guests even stayed late for the smash burgers and poutine we had served because they didn't want to miss a single delicious bite! Their bar staff was also top-notch, not just doing rail service but also mixing cocktails; the level of craftsmanship there was superb! If you're considering them and another company, all I can tell you is this: We looked at three companies for our wedding and were planning to compare three more, but after we met with Societe, the decision was a no-brainer! Truly a 5-star service from end to end.

We’re so glad we chose Societe Traiteur to cater our wedding! My husband and I wanted to do something a bit different with the food—sharing great meals together is one of our favourite things, so we wanted that same feeling at our wedding. Instead of a traditional sit-down dinner, we went for Lebanese-inspired sharing plates so our guests could try a bit of everything. After hearing our vision, the team completely designed a menu for us and were so thoughtful throughout the whole process. They even took our feedback on specific dishes and made adjustments to suit our tastes. The food was absolutely delicious, beautifully presented, and honestly one of the biggest highlights of the day for us and our guests. We had so many compliments from people saying how much they loved the food. They went above and beyond to bring our vision to life, even though it was outside their usual approach—and they absolutely nailed it.

Last Saturday night, I attended. an event catered by Societe Traiteur. Francisco and his team, Camille and Lise, offered an elevated level of professionalism. They were incredibly attentive, polite, and knowledgeable. I have very specific dietary needs; I am vegan and gluten-free. Francisco provided a meal that exceeded all possible expectations! Our starter salad was almost too beautiful to eat. Sweet beets, fresh tomatoes, and a lovely mix of greens graced the plate—the combination of flavours and textures harmonized in every bite. My main dish consisted of a fantastical mushroom breaded in corn flour that rested upon a bed of the most exquisite eggplant puree. The hint of spice in the sauce married the crispiness of the mushroom, creating a perfect bite. Roasted vegetables in a rainbow of colours decorated the plate and added an incredible array of textures. Dessert consisted of a crisp, flavourful vegan, gluten-free tartlet shell filled with the smoothest, most decadent vegan chocolate mousse I've ever tasted! Accented with fresh diced apples, strawberries, raspberries and blueberries, this was the perfect closure to a brilliant meal! While I enjoyed my dinner, other guests were treated to the same salad and dessert with either salmon or chicken as their main dish. Both were beautifully presented. The salmon was accompanied by sweet potato puree and a beautiful selection of roasted vegetables. The Chicken was served with roasted potatoes and vegetables. Everyone was quite impressed with their food and the level of service that was provided. I HIGHLY recommend Societe Traiteur for any event catering.
