Sonya Iwasiuk Art Studio est une galerie et un studio d'art situés au 1000 Parker St #208 à Vancouver. Elle propose des ateliers de peinture et de techniques mixtes dirigés par Sonya, salués pour leur instruction claire, leur préparation soignée et un style d'enseignement chaleureux et encourageant. Les cours axés sur le processus offrent du matériel professionnel et un espace accueillant pour que les artistes apprennent, créent et exposent de nouvelles œuvres.

Sonya was very knowledgeable, personable and encouraging. I learned a lot in only a few hourse and went home with a new piece im proud to display. she helped reignite my passion for art. Sonya was great! We had her come in to do a Halloween craft event at work, she was so well prepared, gave clear instruction and lots of encouragement. It was a lot of fun!
The weekend workshop was excellent. I fully got my money’s worth, came out with a new piece, and learned new techniques. Sonia created a warm working environment, offered helpful guidance, and provided professional quality materials. I recommend it to anyone looking to learn a new technique and get your creative juices flowing.
I was lucky to attend a weekend workshop on mixed media techniques & a deep dive golden mediums. Sonya's teaching style is incredibly supportive & kind while still providing opportunity to grow and learn. Sonya teaches in a process driven way - which as a student I love! I picked up so many ideas on what I can apply to my own practice as an artist. What I appreciated especially is that in a course with quite a different set of experience and skill Sonya found ways to help each of us grow, without slowing down the pace or leaving the less experienced artists behind. I highly recommend taking a class with Sonya - if I were based in Vancouver (and not Seattle) I would immediately be joining a weekly class.
Sonya is incredibly warm, friendly, and talented. We had Sonya host a painting workshop for the BC Cancer Redevelopment Team of 28 participants. She was organized and responsive during the entire process of planning the workshop. We highly recommend her. Thank you so much, Sonya!
