In town on business stopped here by a recommendation from a local. Couldn't decide what to order so I went with the wing special on Wednesday and the tri-tip. Best wings I've ever had. Tri-tip was perfect. Little joint ran by a young family, would definitely eat here again next time I'm in town.
My fiancé and I went here for the first time tonight and it was an overall great experience! A warm, welcoming environment and incredible food! I had the BBQ Sundae and he ordered the Smashed Potato. (He enjoyed it so much he ordered a second one and definitely 'smashed' them both!) We will definitely be back!
Soulfull Cocina is absolutely amazing! I had the ribs with mac n’ cheese, and it was some of the best BBQ I’ve ever tasted. The ribs were perfectly cooked—tender, flavorful, and falling right off the bone. The mac n’ cheese was creamy, cheesy, and the perfect comfort food side. Everything tasted homemade and full of love. The staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. If you’re craving delicious BBQ, this is the place to go. I’ll definitely be back!
Restaurant staff are super nice and helpful. Food is edible, but drowning in sauce. I'd rather adjust the amount of BBQ sauce myself. Also the meat wasn't all that tender and didn't really have a smoky flavor. Probably the reason for drowning the meat in a very sweet sauce. The corn and Mac and cheese were really well done and great. Baked Beans had the same problem as the burnt ends. Way too much of the same super sweet BBQ sauce.
What an amazing addition to Havelock! The food was great, the space was so inviting and clean, and the service was awesome. They have rotating daily specials, so I got the wings today in 3 different sauces: Jamaican jerk, honey butter garlic, and Nashville heat. The homemade BBQ sauces were so tasty, too, with my favorite being the Carolina and spicy ones. 🍗 I can't wait to return and sit out at their patio where they have occasional shows (musicians, comedians, etc).
