The instructor that runs the hip-hop class does not care about other classes going on. The instructor will blast the music so loud. It's absolute dumb how loud the music is and the people at the front desk don't care.

This place is truly special. Ok this is gonna be a long one but I want to be sure it’s clear how much Soundbox has impacted my life. I’m a busy adult, with grown kids and a demanding full time job. I took “dance class” when I was young but stopped 35 yrs ago. Over the years, my body became slower, stiffer, heavier, and really was holding me back in life more than I realized. I started dancing again for fun and fitness because i can’t stand the monotony of running or the gym but my health was impacted by my lack of exercise. I know it sounds corny, but here’s a secret: Dance is the mental and physical fountain of youth! Dance is absolutely the best overall wellness hack. The full body toning and conditioning, the mental challenge of choreography, the joy of dancing with others, the emotional sense of renewal, but most of all, the loving and welcoming culture at Soundbox, is what makes me look forward to every single evening there. It doesn’t matter if you are a complete beginner, or a “real” dancer who competes or is training for dance jobs & auditions, there is something for you here, every day, at every level. The instructors are amazing. I would give a thousand stars to Soundbox if I could. I regret that I didn’t find it earlier. If you used to dance but stopped, for whatever reason, just come back. Restart as soon as you can. Don’t let “dance studio” be intimidating — whatever level, even complete beginner, you will be welcomed and valued at Soundbox, I promise. If you come alone, you will not be alone. Start now. If you are an adult who still dances, don’t ever stop.

Always different dance practices going on here. As a student I appreciate that the floors and bathrooms are kept clean. There is limited parking, so I'd recommend getting to your lesson early because the parking lot and street parking fill up quickly

super patient, encouraging, and understanding teachers for both beginners and advanced dancers! if you're a new to dancing, the beginner classes offer the perfect balance between a comfortable difficulty level and also challenging you a bit at the same time. advanced classes are even more challenging but you learn a lot with each one.
