I was looking for a wine, with 0 experience about wines. But Natalia was so helpful She helped me shop for her perfect wine for my mother in law, she just asked a few questions and I got my gift. My mother in law loved the wine, she already bought two more bottles.
Today I had a disappointing experience at Specs. After placing a pickup order, I had positive interactions with the cashier and a salesperson offering samples. Unfortunately, there was a miscommunication and a manager who was more interested in being right than in making a sale. Part of my order (~$180 total) included what I thought was 1 6-case of inexpensive wine. Apparently it was 1 bottle of expensive wine. Whatever, mistakes happen. Unfortunately, instead of making it right, the manager treated me like I was a moron for misunderstanding the poorly worded website. He could have canceled that item and sold me something in my price range (maybe with a smile and a nominal discount) and made a $200 sale. Instead he was a jerk, disrespecting me and the cashier (putting his hand up at her when she tried to speak to me). Yuck. I'll take my brunch money to Total Wine, thanks.
Awesome selection and friendly staff, guy went out of his way to find a bottle for me.
Great variety of wines and spirits, from those from the California Valley to those imported from Spain or France, not to mention the local ones. Extensive assortment of tequila and wishkey. Knowledgeable staff and ample parking.
