Rooms are a combination of being dated with some modern touches -- it's really ugly and weird and whoever made that decision should be fired. Seriously, 1987 called and said they want their rug and room chairs back. The staff are nice. The water park is okay except for the eye burning level of chlorine present and the very, very, very cheap patio furniture -- literally dollar store level flimsy plastic trash that you definitely won't enjoy sitting on -- do better Springs. The water park food store is overpriced trash but the restaurant is top notch. There were 6 of us (4 adults) and no complaints from any of us regarding the food or the service. 2.9998 star resort. 4 star restaurant.
Always a great time coming here! I would guess I've brought my kids here and stayed overnight 15 times in the past five years. Even the food at the waterpark is fantastic. Fun for any ages!
Went there middle of a Monday and was great. Everything was open and my family had a blast. Warm water, super clean, and plenty of fun activities to choose from. Would recommend if you want a close by water park on an off day!
I went there only for the walk they have 2 weekends to see the xmas light displays. Totally awesome. Was 8 dollars in past , now 10 dollars. Long walk to see many beautiful displays. Totally worth the 10 dollars. Sell hot chocolate, cookies, etc. Can bring your dog. They have a wonderful town with all little houses with animatronic bears. Some are cooking , etc. I will go every year. Have gone the last 3 years. SANTA IS THERE AND there is a building with all working model trains. A separate building with almost life size nativity scene. I go here and the zoo. Both are very impressive. They also have a restaurant in the hotel where you can eat.
Kids have been begging to go to Wisconsin Dells again but I wanted something quicker and less expensive so a day trip here was the perfect compromise. We had a great time! My kids are 10 and 8 but I can see them enjoying the big slides and lazy river for at least a few more years. They also have a toddler area too which a variety of age children enjoyed as well as the littles. Employees were attentive poolside making sure kids were following the rules and being safe. Food was reasonably priced as well. We will definitely be coming up there again in a few weeks!
