Avoid Stanley Steemer at All Costs – They Charged Us for Work They Never Did I hired Stanley Steemer to clean the air ducts in our office after a major renovation. Construction left behind drywall dust, cardboard scraps, and other debris, so we paid for a professional duct cleaning to ensure the air was safe before bringing staff back. They came, ran their equipment, charged us full price, and assured us the job was complete. Fast forward: a new employee starts complaining of respiratory issues. We called a reputable restoration company for an inspection, and what they found was shocking—our ducts were NEVER cleaned. The same cardboard, drywall chunks, and construction debris were still lodged inside, exactly as they’d been post-renovation. This wasn’t “a little dust buildup” over time; this was undisturbed construction waste, proof the job was never done. We’ve reached out to Stanley Steemer twice asking for an explanation and a refund. No response. Not even a courtesy call from the manager. Their silence speaks volumes. This isn’t just poor service—it’s fraudulent. They took our money knowing we wouldn’t open the ducts to verify their work. If you value your health, your money, and basic honesty, do not trust Stanley Steemer. We’re out hundreds of dollars and now paying a second company to do the job right. Disgraceful.

Jake was our cleaner for that day. They usually send two crew members. The floor was pretty bad with stains. Jake asked me to take a look halfway through. I was amazed, and when he finished I was beyond amazed. He did an awesome job and went over some of the stains he thought might not come out. Big shout out to him for a job well done. 👍
