Statement Barbershop is the best place to go get a haircut in Reno. Everybody there is super chill and it’s always a great experience. Esli always get my hair how I want it and would highly recommend him.
Haircuts are decent- owner is just not genuine and rude Edit: response to the response Thanks for responding. To clarify — I reached out directly about this and didn’t receive any reply. The only response came after I posted this review. Also, the late/no-show policy you referenced isn’t posted anywhere online or in the shop, and it was never communicated during any of my visits. Being charged for a policy I had no way of knowing about is what felt unfair, especially since I’ve waited 15–20 minutes at previous appointments without issue. My review reflects the lack of communication and consistency.
Omar is truly an exceptional barber! Every visit is a fantastic experience—he listens carefully to what I want and always delivers a perfect cut. The shop is clean and welcoming, and Omar goes above and beyond to ensure his clients leave looking and feeling their best. I needed a last-minute cut for a hot date, and Jay at Statement Barbershop absolutely over-delivered. The man’s got serious skill — clean fade, perfect lineup, and great energy all around. He even dyes hair, which I’ll definitely be back for soon to switch things up with a fun dye job. I showed up an hour early, enjoyed a complimentary drink of my choice, and chopped it up with the crew — everyone in the shop was chill, welcoming, and professional. Top-tier service, dope atmosphere, and unmatched attention to detail. Jay and the squad earned my business for good. 💈🔥
Jake is hands-down the best barber I’ve ever been to. I’ve been to 7-8 barbers in Reno and he’s the first one I’ve returned to consistently - it’s now been almost half a year of returning. Every cut is precise, clean, and exactly what I’m looking for—he really listens and delivers every time. You can tell he takes pride in his work, and it shows in the results. The vibe in the shop is always relaxed and welcoming, with some good talks and music, and Jake makes the whole experience easy and enjoyable. If you’re looking for a barber who’s consistent, professional, and genuinely talented, Jake is your guy. He even took care of one of my nephews on short notice. Can’t recommend Jake enough
