I've been participating with station theater for over a year now. The shows are fantastic and the classes are really beneficial for anyone at any level. I can't wait to see their new location!

Station Theater is a fantastic spot for smart, witty improv and sketch comedy. The performers are quick, creative, and always deliver a great night of laughs.

Calling all class clowns, creatives, and folks who love to laugh till your abs hurt (or at least until your face cramps)—Station Theater is that place. So here’s my story: I’m currently in Level 1 improv... for the second time. Yep. I took it back in 2019 and, well… let’s just say I got kicked out for overly ”Boom! Freeze! Michael Skoon FBI! Boom! BOOM! Boom. Boom. Boom!” (that’s a joke—ifykyk) But seriously, even as a two-time Level Oner™️, I LOVE this experience. 📍The Space The venue is intimate, artsy, and welcoming—like walking into a creative clubhouse. The wall art is fresh, the lighting sets the mood, and the energy is YES, AND! all the way. Whether you're here for a class or a show, the staff is kind, funny, and always on top of things. A Houston gem through and through. 🎭 The Shows Don’t sleep on the weekly improv shows. These troupes bring it! One minute you’re watching a Shakespearean breakup in a Waffle House, the next it’s a courtroom drama starring a sock puppet and a confused cat. It’s glorious chaos, and worth every second. 📚 The Classes Thinking about trying improv? DO IT. Whether you’re looking to break out of your comfort zone, make new friends, or just learn to say “Yes, and” to life—Station’s classes are healing, hilarious, and empowering. I'm heading into Level 2 soon—my mom would be so proud (she is saying from the grave – “So THIS is what you’re doing with your life?”). Bonus: You’ll walk away with better communication skills, a new creative outlet, and 12+ inside jokes with strangers who become friends. Where else can you say “I played a ghost barista on Mars” and not get weird looks? Station Theater is pure magic. Never been to anything like this. Definitely a must try! Dropped by for their Friday 8pm show and stayed on for another hour. Its BYOB and BYOF which I loved. The actors are really great and it's a fun night out (and definitely different). Initially I was a little dubious seeing the neighbourhood and all... but I'd definitely go again and take other people along :)

Les gens étaient très sympas ! J'ai eu l'occasion de voir une promotion d'improvisateurs qui ont complètement dominé la scène ! Ils étaient tellement bons ! J'ai ensuite vu un spectacle régulier et c'était génial aussi ! Les billets sont bon marché et c'est BYOB. On ne peut pas faire mieux !
