I went to Stephanie to get extensions. She removed my old ones that were not right for my hair and reinstalled new ones. The color match was done very well. She's very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. She did a great job! Dog was adorable as well!
5 stars just isn't enough to give Stefanie! I just moved to Des Moines, and I needed to find someone to move up my wefts and order new hair for me. She took the time to go over options that I had never heard of, suggested color blends, and listened to every last detail I provided. She recommended K tips versus the wefts I previously had, and I couldn't be more grateful for that recommendation. They are SO lightweight, provide more fullness around my crown/face and blend so much more naturally into my hair. Thank you, Stefanie!! I love my hair!!
First of all this is a review by Kimberly Pierce not Todd😁. I had long blonde hair most of my life and it was kind of my identity in a way as most women will understand that relationship we have with our hair. After losing my hair earlier this year from chemo, I was so grateful to be alive but didn’t feel like myself. I avoided mirrors and pretty much locked myself away from the outside world UNTIL I found Stefanie at Amavi Extensions and Color Studio. I had inquired with other studios about extensions but was told they couldn’t help me because I didn’t have enough hair. Stefanie did not dismiss me like everyone else. She was determined to help me feel like myself again and didn’t shy away from a challenge! Stefanie spent two visits, at least 9 hours and several extension types just to help a complete stranger feel like herself again. The kindness she showed me will never be forgotten and on top of that, the color and style are just fantastic! What she was able to do with one inch of hair is an absolute miracle. Thank you Stefanie for being such an awesome person. If anyone out there is considering extensions she is the best hands down!
Stef is AMAZING! I always leave with exactly what I want; even if I didn’t know what I wanted to do before I go see her! Her knowledge, techniques, tools and color are on point. She is an amazing braid specialist and I would highly recommend her for a fresh new do or special occasion hair!
Stef is amazing! I’ve been seeing her for eyes (finally stopped stylist hopping after I started working with her) and she always does an amazing job with my hair. She always looks at my Pinterest pictures and helps me understand how it will translate on my own hair. Plus, her extensive knowledge of extensions came in handy after I had my son and experienced a ton of post-partum hair loss. With her help, we installed just enough extensions to add back volume and make me feel like me again. Highly recommend you work with her!!!
