With the new year comes the return of Amex credit card perks, and we booked an Italian restaurant through Resy—which led us to STK Steakhouse. What we didn’t expect was a full feast for both the taste buds and the eyes. 🕑 Pro tip: Book a late afternoon to early evening slot. It’s perfect for a relaxed “early dinner,” street parking is easier to find, and you can catch their Happy Hour. Most items are priced at $3, $6, or $9, which is an incredible deal. We ordered several dishes, including Wagyu tacos, meatballs, and mushroom fritters—amazing value, and you can order freely without hesitation. 🍞 The complimentary bread is freshly baked and arrives warm at the table, with a lightly crispy crust and soft interior. Paired with garlic butter, it was so good we couldn’t help but ask for a free refill—absolutely addictive. 🦞 A must-order: FILET 6oz & LOBSTER TAIL with Signature Butters. The server torches the butter tableside, and as the flames rise, the rich buttery aroma fills the air—your senses are won over before the first bite. The lobster is tender and springy, and the filet is perfectly cooked, crispy on the outside and juicy inside. Priced at $92 + $12, it’s a high-quality surf-and-turf that’s truly worth it. 🍨 After the main course, the restaurant kindly treated us to complimentary ice cream. The smooth, cool vanilla flavor perfectly balanced the richness of the steak and completed the dining experience. We left completely stuffed—in the best way possible. ✨ Lastly, a word on the ambiance: the restaurant features various semi-private seating areas in different styles, paired with dynamic lighting and artistic decor. Whether it’s a romantic date or a gathering with friends, it’s a great fit. Dining here feels like a double indulgence for both the palate and the eyes—definitely a steakhouse we’d come back to again.
Had an amazing experience at STK Steakhouse downtown. Shoutout to Josh, our server. He was professional, attentive, and made the night effortless. Drinks stayed perfect with no spills, he recommended some incredible appetizers and entrées, and his wine pairing was spot on. We had a client fly in from New Orleans for a photo and video shoot and came here right after. It was the perfect spot to wrap the day. Great vibe, great food, and even better service. We’ll definitely be back!
We had a very nice dinner at STK San Diego tonight to celebrate the holidays. The atmosphere is definitely unique for a steakhouse—it’s very energetic and the music is a bit loud, but it creates a fun, modern environment that’s different from your typical quiet fine dining. The food was well-prepared and enjoyable: The bread: It’s a warm, pull-apart brioche topped with a subtle blue cheese butter and served with a fresh chive oil. It’s easy to see why people often ask for a second round. Japanese A5 Wagyu Potstickers: Tried these from the holiday cheers menu; they were crunchy and a great way to start the meal. Filet & Lobster and Cowgirl Steak: Both cuts were high quality and cooked exactly to our preference. Drinks: The Rosé was a solid choice, and the Fade to Blackberry was a flavorful, though surprisingly strong, whiskey cocktail. Overall, it’s a great spot if you're looking for quality steak in a high-energy setting.
Loved it. Food was great. Carly was great. She gave us options and listen to our needs. She was absolutely fabulous. Drinks were strong and great. Came to celebrate my birthday just my mom and I. It was our first time and we definitely give it a 10/10.
During a recent weekday visit near the holidays, my family and I arrived at this establishment for happy hour, where we were impressed by the tasteful Christmas decorations. Despite the early hour for dinner, the atmosphere was welcoming. Our server delivered exceptional service, showcasing outstanding attentiveness and efficiency. Unfortunately i forgot her name but she was Asian, sweet and fast. The extensive menu sampling featured an array of expertly prepared dishes, including mini hamburgers, calamari, Wagyu tacos, steak bites, oysters, etc. The diverse happy hour offerings and delightful donuts, paired with a well-crafted spiced watermelon cocktail, made for a satisfying experience. We would recommend this establishment and intend to return.
