Such a great experience for the first time! My kids enjoyed it! They are 7 & 11 and both said it was the best experience ever. We went for a birthday party and the instructor was so patient and showed us exactly how to latch on and off. Can’t wait to go back again!
Stone Summit has been such a great experience for my son. He has been taking climbing classes at Stone Summit since he first started climbing. We struggled to find a sport that he really liked and this is it. The coaches know how to make it fun and be personable with the kids. The groups are small enough where each kid gets individual coaching but there is a team atmosphere about it. This program is great! If you have a child who doesn't like traditional team sports, this is a great alternative.
We feel so fortunate to have found the Stone Summit Climbing Team and would recommend it to anyone. We have one child on one of the competitive teams and one on the rec teams and we have been impressed with every single coach that they have had. All the coaches seem to truly love working with the kids and sharing their passion for the sport. They are great at meeting the kids where they are and helping them to grow. We have found the Stone Summit teams to provide an incredibly supportive environment for the children, for every athletic ability. Both of our children have made friends, had fun, and improved greatly. In addition, Stone Summit is doing a great job with Covid precautions, and it has been especially wonderful to have this social outlet for our children with school being virtual.
This team is a game changer. Whether you're looking to try out climbing for the first time like we did years ago, or take your training to world-class heights, this is where you go. The coaching is exceptional - extremely professional, experienced, and geared toward training the whole athlete, not just their climbing performance. The community of coaches, parents, and athletes is truly special, unlike anything we've experienced in youth sports. The team has ignited a passion for climbing for our entire family, and we feel blessed to be able to experience this amazing sport both inside and outside of the gym. Coach Neal and the rest of the Stone Summit Climbing Team are great! My 7-yr old joined the climbing team after doing a summer camp at Stone Summit. She enjoyed the camp so much that she decided to join the climbing team. She loves going to practice every week and has really gained confidence and experience with climbing. Would highly recommend this climbing gym to other families, especially kids with no experience! They've also done a great job with COVID-19 precautions.
