From the first conversation that we had with Ivory during our search for a wedding planner, we knew that she just fit. Ivory is personable, professional and most of all, she felt like family. My fiance, Hakim and I, had ideas of what we wanted, but Ivory really gave it LIFE. From the decor to the set up to the way we wanted a non-traditional 'lounge style' wedding, we got all that we wanted and more. I sent Ivory my vision board from Pinterest and she ran with it. From reviewing vendor contracts to her overwhelming availability, there is nothing more that we could have asked for. The day-of coordination with her team was unmatched. We live in North Carolina, our wedding was in Richmond, VA and Ivory is based in Norfolk, VA. Never once did we feel overwhelmed with this process. On our wedding day, we didn't have to worry about a single thing and we had so many people compliment (as well as inquire about) her services. We recommend Ivory and Storybook Events 1,000%! Ivory with her team is AMAZING!!!! She officiant a justice peace ceremony with close family during COVID-19 and worked with my son and my daughter a year later to help set up their wedding for family and friends. Without Ivory guiding my son and daughter-in-law during this process, they would not have had the ideal wedding they wanted. Everyone who attended had a great time. When your eldest son gets married, you always want the best for him. The pressures of ensuring the event are set up well, the people have an enjoyable time, and the groom, the bride, and the wedding party can focus on the experience of creating lifetime memories.
