My fiancé and I booked a 10 pack private classes for our wedding. From the moment we first inquired to when we finished the classes, everything went so smoothly and everyone was wonderful to deal with - from the reception girls to our instructors. We were only available during the winter holidays, and they managed to find us two instructors immediately, Artjom and Polina. We had our first free consultation video call with Artjom to discuss our vision for our wedding dance, so when we met in person for the first time, we were able to start the choreography right away. Polina was our other instructor when Artjom was away for a few days. Both were flexible and accommodated our schedule well, attentive, patient, friendly and made us feel so comfortable! We wanted to do a slow dance and a bachata performance for our wedding, and we were able to finish the whole choreography within 10 lessons with no prior dance experience. After every lesson, we could stay back in the studio and practice as much as we needed. Can’t recommend Studio M enough. It’s a great space with amazing people!
Giovanni was our first dance instructor for our wedding, and we could not have asked for anyone better! From the very first lesson, he made us feel comfortable, confident, and most importantly, he made it fun. His upbeat energy, patience, and expert instruction turned what could have been a stressful part of wedding prep into one of our favorite memories leading up to the big day. Giovanni was so easy to communicate and schedule with, and his enthusiasm (and charming Italian accent!) always had us smiling. We took five lessons at Studio M, which is a beautiful space with easy parking, and every session felt like a mix of progress and pure joy. We started treating dance lesson with him like our weekly date nights. Giovanni also had a private lesson with my dad and I to choreograph our father-daughter dance. He was patient, and really understood the meaning and importance of this dance for us. We truly could not have had a better instructor. Giovanni made our experience so memorable and meaningful, and we’ll cherish these moments forever. We are endlessly grateful for him and highly recommend him to anyone looking to make their first dance and the process leading up to it something special.
After reviewing a number of places offering dance lessons, we decided to go with Studio M for one reason: Giovanni!! Before we booked, we had a free consultation with him and he made sure to ask all the right questions to get a good feel of what we wanted to do for our wedding dance: what kind of music we liked, what our experience is, what kind of dress I was wearing, etc. He even offered to remix some songs together if we didn't have a single song in mind. He wanted to make sure that we were comfortable with whatever dance happened. He's also Italian and we're having our wedding in Italy, so it felt like fate to meet him! We ended up booking 10 lessons with Giovanni. After we decided on a song, within the first lesson, we already had a good 30 seconds choreographed. He was patient with us both, as neither of us had dance experience, and he really listened to us on what we were comfortable doing. He also shortened our song choice so that our first dance was within a reasonable timeframe. Within 4 lessons, our entire dance was choreographed! We spent the rest of the lessons perfecting, tweaking, and refining every possible moment! It really put us at ease for when we finally hit the dance floor. Another really awesome thing about Giovanni is that since he does a lot of weddings, he is always thinking about a number of things to make sure that the dance is beautiful, but also that the photos captured are perfect! He took a lot of videos for us so we can watch and practice at home. He also made sure to tell us when we'd have good "photo moments" where we should perfect our poses for the quick moment our photographer will have to snap a pic. And he even recommended sending a video to our photographer with recommendations on photo moments, so the photographer can get familiar with the dance ahead of time. In general, Giovanni is so kind, patient, and incredibly fun to be around and we cannot recommend him enough as a wedding dance instructor!!
We took five lessons for our wedding dance. Giovanni was AMAZING! We are beginner dancers and were able to learn a beautiful Bridgerton-inspired ballroom dance. Such a great experience and team, we could not recommend Giovanni more. He was amazing!
I absolutely love Studio M! It is a wonderful space that brings together so many different dance communities and always makes everyone feel welcome. We're lucky to have this place as our dance home in the South Bay ❤️❤️
