Excellent, modern shop. The "moon milk" in everything is a really nice, sweet creamer. Good spot, doesn't fill up too fast, and extremely kind, cool staff. Frequented mostly by college-age folks and young adults. Kolaches are pretty good!
Not a place to go if you like real coffee. It's geared to its signature sweet cream. I don't like a sugary flavoured drink called coffee. Definitely not a Third Wave coffee experience. But may folk love their "coffee" disguised with all sorts of flavors and things. Not for me. The black coffee was bitter. I'm guessing the staff are not trained in how not to under or over extract a coffee shot... anyway enough rambling. Nice place but far too noisy to hold a conversation... music was interfering and the acoustics make all noise louder. I'll pass next time.
I'm not sure why one customer said the coffee tastes like dirt. Maybe they added something 🤔. Regardless, I have been here twice now and absolutely love it. Ive had coffee at various places. Many of those places had such artificial flavors and taste. This place has a Java Chip Moon Glacier....by far the best. Better than Starbucks! Great service as well.
I paid $7.85 for their smallest iced coffee—a mocha, which unfortunately tasted like dirt. I ended up going to Starbucks instead, where I got the same drink in a larger size for only $6.12. For that kind of price, the coffee should meet a much higher standard.
Our first time here and we loved it! One of the BEST chocolate chip cookies we’ve ever had! Delicious coffee (I got an iced maple praline latte and hubby got an iced latte with 1/4 moon milk and SF vanilla syrup). Very popular spot and we almost didn’t get a place to sit down. Friendly and helpful staff when we asked questions about the menu. For those that are looking for sugar free options, you have hazelnut and vanilla to choose from. Would definitely come back again!
