Went on a weekday morning around 8:30am for a suspected tire leak. Not too busy at the time. One of the guys patched my tire within like 15 min, pumped up all of them, and charged me $10 which I think is so little for the service! Gave him 20 and highly recommend this place, at least just based on a simple tire patching.
The team at Sunset Auto Care was very friendly, informed and speedy. I made an appointment to have my brakes checked and brake fluid flushed and replaced. The work was completed in two hours. Isaiah's customer service was excellent. Next time I need one my cars repaired or inspected, I will be going to see Isaiah and team at Sunset Auto Care! Thanks!!
I only have a passing knowledge about car repairs and maintenance.. but I do know when I am being cheated.. or at least I think I do. I asked for an oil change and inspection and that is what I got. I printed report with photos, the oil change was less expensive then an oil changers. They let me know there were a few things that needed my attention, but did not try and upsell me. My only gripe is the person who answered the phone did not seem to have too much patience for my questions and was a bit of a downer. I am always going to bring my car here now.
Sunset Auto is the only mechanic I'll take my car to in the city! Isaiah and the team are so kind and warm and trustworthy, they always go above and beyond and never push work beyond what is necessary. Prices are also very reasonable compared to many other places in SF. I always know I'm in good hands when my car is with them, I can't recommend them enough!
These folks helped me inspect my low air tire, and when it turned out to not be patchable, helped me find a nearby place to get a new one. A+ service. I’ve also gotten my oil changed here a few times, and my a/c serviced as well. This is my go-to auto shop, and I’ve got no complaints.
