We went to Sunstar Nurseries for the first time… what a great find! We needed something for our front yard, instead of the grass that had previously covered the entire front yard. Ash helped us - she was as patient as she was knowledgeable. She helped us find the appropriate plants for our shady front yard, and gave us advise on how to plant them. I am so happy they bloomed this year already! Hands down the best experience we have had at any nursery. I would highly recommend you ask for Ash - she knows her stuff!!

I had a tremendous learning experience with a staff member who helped me plan out my backyard. It was near closing time and I'm sure she had more pressing things to do, but she took the time to suggest shade tolerant trees, explain the pros and cons of Saskatoon vs cranberry bushes, and give me a thorough explanation of how to prepare my soil. I'm so lucky to have received her wisdom and can't wait to be back to purchase my shrubs and saplings!!

Our Autumn Blaze Maple planted today by Sunstar Nurseries. Thank you to Ash that put the deal together and the 2 hard working lads that put it in the ground. Highly recommend for all your planting needs. We also picked up some bushes today and I will post pics once they get planted.

If you are buying multiple trees and shrubs- Check your receipt onsite to ensure that you are not overcharged for trees you did not take and take photos of what you loaded. I assumed there was an innocent error of an extra tree added to our bill. We bought 3 junipers and were charged for 4. I went to rectify it timely way & I called ahead to get it sorted, sent pictures of the trees we have in our yard since I was well aware this was odd. I came in and was told multiple times the staff report I did take the 4 trees & also asked if I had photos of what I loaded. Despite their version and asking for evidence they did honor the refund. I found this experience confusing & upsetting, if they were going to refund me anyways, why are they continuing to tell me the staff say I took something I didn't even while I was getting the money back? Our family will not be back. We were excited about our first purchases. I hope they believe in honesty their customers in the future. After further communication it was stated they have been taken advantage of before. So this may explain how they manage returns. I suggest taking pictures so you don't get in this situation of being told that your truth is not what theirs is. In the end I wish I just ate the cost, or bought from a different nursery all together and didn't have this experience.
