Enjoyed my experience today, from the herbal tea & relaxing music in the waiting room to being warmly welcomed by my massage therapist & taken into the treatment room. Music was lovely. Hot towels refreshing. Perhaps the only improvement would be the towel around the face-hole on table could be softer. The massage therapist checked in to see if the pressure was ok. She was pleasant & responsive to feedback too. I’ve come away feeling 100% more relaxed. Thank you 🙏
A very intuitive and friendly Marylin gave me a wonderful relaxing 75 minute massage with a peppermint skull massage, it made my day! She was sensitive to a leg injury area and elbowed all the right sore bits just right. Hope it wasn't too boring for her, I usually chat more but my social battery is nil.
This was a great, premium experience for my partner and me. I now know what to get her for her birthday! Well worth the money, and an incredible location to spend the day.
Update: The response by the owner is clear indication of why this place has the review it has been given. I have never been to a day spa where I have not been informed that I will have 2 therapists before my appointment and most of the time I have the same therapist. Very combative, defensive and not customer-focused. Disappointing. I decided to have “The New You” which is a 1-hour massage and 1-hour facial. -1⭐️ for not informing me that I would have 2 therapists. I booked a month before and was not told beforehand nor when I arrived. I was only told by the massage therapists when I was in the room. -1⭐️ for the reception. I think they were busy training someone so I was told to wait in the lounge area and help myself to tea. I was barely looked at and I arrived early but no consultation form was filled. -1⭐️ for the volume of the music in the lounge that was full of static probably due to a bad reception or bad wifi. It contradicted the word “Relax” on top of the fireplace. +1⭐️ for my massage therapist. She was really quite good at finding my sore spots and she did relax me enough that I fell asleep. I cannot give more than 1 star as whilst it was good, I have had better. -1⭐️ for the change over to the facial therapist as she greeted me loudly and woke me up. Then proceeded to ask me questions about my skin. I found that this disrupted the level of bliss I had achieved with the massage. +1⭐️ the facial was good but not extraordinary. I had to ask for the music in the room to be turned down as there was the same issue with the music having static-sounding issues. All in all, not a really welcoming experience and underwhelming compared to some spas I’ve been to in the vicinity. It is clear that I have had a different experience from other reviewers.
Absolutely amazing. Yes yes yes! I was gifted the ‘travellers package’ for a birthday present. Offered tea and water on entry, then taken to my own candle lit private room which was welcoming, smelt beautifully and exceptionally clean. Rooms also have private toilet/shower facilities attached. Mel gave me an amazing massage and worked out all of my achey niggles. - Thank you so much! To follow, Rita provided a wonderful facial and scalp massage. I even got to choose what oils she used on my scalp. I look & feel so rejuvenated. I couldn’t stop smiling. I will be recommending Swiss wellness to everyone I meet. All staff are absolutely lovely and so so accomodating. If this is for yourself or a gift for a friend, you will not be disappointed. Huge Thank you again to Mel and Rita for starting my morning off and helping me fill my cup.
