Sydney Animal Hospital at Norwest is the only place I will take our dog for both his vet checks and also boarding. The online booking system is easy to manage for vaccinations and health check and when needing boarding they always call back within a reasonable timeframe to check availability. They also send reminder text messages for confirmation which is great for people who live busy lives and are forgetful! The staff are always so welcoming, friendly and put both us and our dog at ease when we arrive for our appointment. Dr Kristy was AMAZING with our dog for his health check and vaccinations. She is so gentle and calm which made us feel so relaxed too. Highly recommend this service
Took my 15 year old cat in to get checked after she was vomiting and had blood in her stools. Ive had her since she was a kitten, so I was really worried. The reception team were so lovely, we waited for a bit past our appointment time and they let us know its because some in house test results were being discussed with the owners of a sweet dog that came in earlier, and gave us a snack and water while apologizing for the wait. Its such a small but appreciated gesture to give a reasonable explanation for a late appointment, the snack was a great bonus too since I eat when Im nervous! The vet was outstanding, she was gentle and thorough in her examination, and we were so grateful for her staying back after closing time to discuss bloodwork results with us, instead of sending us home to discuss it in the morning. You always hope to find a vet and practice that will care about your furry family member as much as you do - and the Sydney Animal Hospitals Norwest team absolutely does.
Thank you so much to all the team and Dr Margareth for your kind care. We sadly said goodbye to our 14yo Groodle, Asher today. They made the euthanasia experience very low stress for everyone involved and made it a loving way to say goodbye to our very special and loved family member. We have been clients of SAH for the past 12 years, very happy to recommend their service to all Sydney pet lovers.
Thank you Dr Toby for your kind assistance with my girls Azia and Glicoulas annual vet health check, they were nervous at first but thanks to your gentle care and yummy treats at ease in no time. All the staff is always friendly ready to assist.
I came back from out of town to find my poor baby in pain, we didn't know what was wrong. We rushed him to this vet. they took him straight away whilst we were waiting and refused to let us see him at all. when we finally got seen, a lovely nurse diagnosed the issue and talked us through what the next steps were. They told us that treatment was over 3k-and when I said i couldn't afford it, the vet told me that i had to kill him, because it was "her duty to help a hurting animal". we took him to another vet immediately, told them how much i had and they worked with that. Now my Leo is alive, and happy. these vets do not care for your animal, only the money you can give to them. the nurses are lovely, get a vet that actually loves animals. This was genuinely one of the most traumatising incidents ive ever had, the thought of losing my baby because i didnt have an extra few hundred dollars. Leo is back home, safe, healthy, alive and happy. This wouldn't have been the case if i let this practise "treat" my cat.
