The food is good 50/50 depending on the day. One thing that is guaranteed is that they will scam you on the meat if there is a 10min wait or more. The busier they are the less meat that goes on your taco/papaloca/quesabirria. I wish they were more consistent because eating cheese and tortillas is a BS.
I went to tacomadre taco truck while visiting my sisters and the food was very good. I know Spanish so the guy was really impressed and they were so kind. I had a burrito 🌯 but my mom got mine and I got hers and we got them mixed up but all of the food was good. The only thing about the atmosphere was that the tables were wet but I was eating outside so I mean duh. Anyways I enjoyed tacomadre taco truck and people visiting San Antonio should try it!
Tacos are meh, I think Basilica's, which are the other closest ones, have better taste. Service is good, they accept card. I think temperature is another missing point, i drove 5mins back home and they were cold already.
Love this place! I always order 5 pastor mini tacos and they are 5 STARS. I have ordered pastor tacos all over San Antonio, and truthfully, these are my favorite by far. The amount of flavor they have is crazy. I crave them all the time! It is also super easy to place an order online or even order when you arrive. It’s always quick about 6-10 mins tops. Plus, the staff is always kind and accommodating. Highly recommend!
The quesabirria is delicious! There’s plenty of tables to eat at. We’ve only come once the sun goes down because it’s all outdoor eating, but it never disappoints. The funnel cake from the dessert food truck was also so so good.
