Le Tanque Verde Ranch, à Tucson, est un complexe hôtelier et un lieu d’événements qui propose hébergement, restauration, spa et un décor désertique. The ranch was beautiful and our overall experience was positive. There was plenty to do. The riding program is not designed for advanced riders, but if all you want to do is walk, trot, and enjoy the scenery it is fine. Their reservation and billing systems are prone to errors, some significant, so double check everything to make sure its right.
We had such a great time at Tanque Verde Ranch. The views, the lodging, and the food were all amazing, and the horses are extremely well taken care of. The staff overall was wonderful and made the stay really comfortable. The only thing I want to be honest about is that I wish the wranglers had been a bit friendlier. Some of them had a little bit of an attitude, which took away from the experience just a tiny bit. Aside from that, everything else was fantastic. The pool area is beautiful, and there’s such a good variety of activities — yoga, rides, hikes, biking, you name it. One thing I wish they offered is some live music or a bonfire in the evenings, just something to make the nights feel a bit more special. I completely fell in love with one of the horses, Scotch — he was my little ranch crush. Overall, I would absolutely return and can highly recommend the ranch with just a couple of small suggestions for improvement.
We had an incredible experience at the Tanque Verde Ranch Cookout! The setting was beautiful—from the short desert walk to the event area, to the charming entrance, warm lighting, rustic bar, live folk/country music, and large fire pits surrounded by tables. The food exceeded expectations: perfectly seasoned, cooked beautifully, and plenty of delicious options. After dinner, we enjoyed playing horseshoes, which was a fun way to wrap up the night. The staff were incredible and helpful and attentive!! This was such a memorable evening, and we plan to return soon—next time for the sunset horse ride before the cookout. Highly recommend!
Amazing staff and amazing place. Very accommodating and friendly. The food has been amazing. The staff are always happy to help and give you great advice. The horse riding is by far the highlight and the wranglers and instructors make everyone comfortable and feel safe. I really liked this about the place. All ages and riding abilities. Cannot recommend highly enough. Thanks Bill for your great instruction!
We fell in love with the people, the horses and the location. The staff is absolutely dedicated, professional and so welcoming. We loved the food at the restaurant. Delicious options for a fair price. The breakfast buffet is a great value and so generous. The property is gorgeous and the horses kept at your footsteps. It is a dream to watch the horses in the paddock or coming back from the trail, with the desert landscape as backdrop. The sun sets are out of this world beautiful. The pool area is a welcoming place to relax and cool off . There is also an indoor pool. Kids activities and activities for adults are plentiful. Let’s not forget the fun cowboy cook out with live music. It really is an experience for young and old to cherish for a lifetime.
