Well being an Aussie from the outback, I have to say this was the first time I have ate at a Japanese restaurant, and let's just say the the only thing wrong with the food is there wasn't enough of it, a little small on portion size for a bloke like me. But so much flavour it wasn't funny. And the host was amazing. I will definitely be eating here again before I leave perth.
Food was incredible- Tansawa is on regular rotation and I tell everyone I can, as it’s such a hidden gem! miso eggplant and waygu dumplings are must!! Eggplant was so good I didn’t take a before photo!
We had a great dining experience at Tanswara Modern Japanese. Authentic Japanese food that is hard to find in Perth, paired with genuinely warm and attentive service. It is a little gem tucked away inside a serviced apartment hotel, so easy to miss if you are not looking out for it. The tempura and Japanese dishes were delicious, and the sake satisfying. A lovely spot for a satisfying and comfortable Japanese meal.
Very fresh seafood and very attentive service! I had the moriawase sashimi platter and the unagi sushi with sake and miso soup and everything was on point! Highly recommended
This is a real hidden gem! The Japanese cuisine is amazing - delicious, amazing attention to detail and artistic. The service is great - they want to make sure you have a great experience. But it is inside of All Suites apartments, so there is the occasional person walking past to the lifts and chatter. But please- get there and enjoy the wonderful food and service. It is worth it. On that note - value is pretty good too!
