Happy Hour Heaven! Tanuki offers a beautiful happy hour menu from 4 - 7pm and on Saturdays they have $8 shots. (love that) The kitchen knew exactly what they were doing crafting each dish. The happy hour portions are pretty small and light but reasonably priced to allow for more choices. (Endless options) I highly recommend the beef gyozas and the Brussels sprouts, seriously way too good. The star of the show was most definitely the “wasabi” martini. Reservations should be encouraged so you are seated right away. Serving all the aesthetics!! This place was a hit.
Jimmy recommended a crab Rangoon , it was amazing. The service, the attention, he was on top of every detail. Even the atmosphere was great , he make us feel special all the time. This is the kind of person that must be fulfilling the places we you go to enjoy life. My favorite is always the cream brûlée
I’m a local and decided to try this place after seeing so many great reviews. I thought it might just be hype, but it definitely exceeded expectations. The sushi was incredibly fresh, our server, Jimmy’s service was friendly, and the whole experience felt like a hidden gem in the area. Highly recommend the pork lo-mein was great as well! Pro tip: garage parking is free for the first 2 hrs
The entire experience was amazing. We came for happy hour and tried variety of drinks and dishes, including some great recommendations from our waiter Jimmy and everything was amazing. The service (shoutout again to Jimmy), views of the river and decor were so well tied together.
Luis was such a sweetheart! He was so welcoming, very informative and came to check on us periodically. I love that. Plus, he’s the cutest waiter @ the restaurant 😍 the drinks came out fast, the food was amazeballs, and we even had some entertainment once the sun set. 10/10, highly recommend. From the young lady who greeted us at the door to the gentleman at the bar who served us our first set of drinks, lovely atmosphere!
