This shop is fantastic, its got everything you'd want for comics, tabletop games and rags. Im sure their miniatures collection is great too. Their staff member Jayden is one of their best, hes great at helping with advice on rpg materials. He helped me pick out some MTG singles today. He is always quick to help and fun to see!
Awesome game room, awsome comics and toys and mtg cards galore. I definitely recommend going here with friends and family. They have split bathrooms for men and women. Plenty of places to go and grab food and sit down to have a fun time. As for their Monday night DnD, go there for the people and for the fun. If you plan to volunteer, you're better off doing it for the store credit and for the people, don't expect their coordinator and their team to treat you with any decency. Clearly lacks professionalism.
Great place. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. They game room is large and accommodating. They host MTG, Pokémon and a lot of other games. D&D nights are good as a player. But do NOT volunteer as a Dungeon Master. The event coordinator isn't very good.
I've been a regular for a year now and I'm always impressed by their selection of new books and collectibles. Not to mention, the staff(such as the employee I talked to, Alicia) are super friendly and very knowledgeable. Also, if you're a Transformers fan, they've got the best selection of new and old figures for the best prices I've seen from any comic shop(see the picture). So whether you're a local or just visiting, I cannot recommend this place enough.
Had a great time at this store. Kids loved it. Staff was super helpful. So many amazing things, from comics, toys, and cards a bit of everything for everyone. So grateful to meet Brad, he is super friendly and gave my shy son knuckles for saying hi since he recognized him from some YouTube videos. Def will be back next time we are in SD.
