They were very helpful and told me my options along the way, so I could decide what to do. They were patient and personable. Scott was awesome in helping me the whole time.
I brought my laptop to these guys. They looked at it and said, “Oh, that’s an easy fix!” They got into my computer and clicked 4 buttons (in front of me at the front counter), and it was all fixed! I asked about my external hard drive and they said they should be able to fix it easily. I asked them if they could mail it to me in Texas when I went home and they said they would be able to do that for me. I will ALWAYS recommend these guys! Best part- they didn’t charge me to fix my computer!
Awesome place took my PC there and they fixed it way faster than I expected, after another place misinformed me, and just did not fix it. Now the PC runs really well, way good presentation, and FPS. Easiest parking lot and access to this shop.
Stopped by to get some assistance with my keyboard and was assisted by Alex. Alex was very kind, informative and processional. I really appreciate everything he did to help me and I'm glad this establishment is here for any future service.
Avoid TECH2U. They do not meet schedules. They play arrogant head games and they overcharge. I took my laptop to TECH2U in Lake Murray. They said they were overwhelmed with business and shorthanded. That meant that I would need to wait a week or more for them to take a look at it. I called back at the designated time and they had not yet looked at the computer. They gave me another date for contact and I called again… They now said a tech was looking at it, but had no answer yet as to the cost or problem. After a number of contacts and pacification answers, I decided to give them two days to either complete my computer or I would pick it up. I finally did get an answer and they said they would charge me $749 to repair my HP Envy laptop. Their next communication told me that they were having problems updating the bios and had not solved the problem. THEY COULD NOT PROVIDE AN ESTIMATED TIMELINE FOR COMPLETION OF THEIR REPAIR. I gave them another day to figure it out… then I picked up my computer. I took it to another computer shop. They fixed it within three hours of the time I dropped it off and charged me $135 instead of the $745 TECH2U was going to charge me. (TECH2U said they were giving me a deal at that price. NOT!) THE OTHER COMPUTER REPAIR SHOP WAS PROFESSIONAL, HELPFUL, REPAIRED IT IN ONE DAY AND CHARGED ME WAY LESS THAN TECH2U. TECH2U also charged me $129 for a thermal re-paste. The other computer repairman said they do it for a maximum price of $40.
