What service! Just before we moved out of state, one of our Stressless chairs lost it's finish. TEMA was happy to help with the warranty, but we were moving to Washington and delivery for the replacement was 6-8 weeks. What could we do??? TEMA contacted a Stressless dealer in our new town, had the replacement shipped to them, and they came out and replaced it! FREE!!! Now that's real service!
We bought 2 leather recliners from Tema over 20 years ago. They still look great, have not lost their color and do not show much wear. The mechanisms broke about 5 years ago and Tema repaired them without a charge. However, we bought a leather loveseat, made in Italy, and have had it for a little over 2 years. One seat is loosing its finish. White is visibly showing and the loveseat is gray. We paid a good amount of money for it. We decided to buy from Tema since we have had such great recliners from them. I called Tema about the issue and was told that the warranty had expired. I can understand the warranty expiration, but am very disappointed that Tema would sell furniture that the leather finish does not last more than a couple of years. We did own another leather couch, bought from a competitor. We paid about 1/3 of what we paid for the Tema loveseat and the finish lasted a lot longer. I expected more from Tema since their prices are so much higher than other furniture stores. The old saying of, "You get what you pay for", does not apply here.
Gwen was very friendly & helpful without being intrusive in our shopping experience. She was very helpful. Randy had assisted us on 2 previous purchases, & he was also very helpful & pleasant. Wonderful sales assistants.
They helped me out and was amazing! Super helpful over the phone. The warehouse staff were friendly too, which made the whole experience smooth. Scored a genuine leather accent chair on clearance for a great deal!
Lorence was wonderful helping us to choose the right sofas and fabrics, even bringing all the fabric options out to our house to do a free on-site consultation. The sofas took much less time than we expected and the delivery crew did a great job. Overall a flawless experience. Highly recommended. Our sofas look perfect.
