I studied for the GMAT with TestCrackers, and I genuinely don’t have enough words to express how incredible Seth and Yuri are—but the results say it all: I jumped from a 490 on my first practice test to a 695 on the official exam, with a perfect verbal score. Seth and Yuri do far more than just teach the content. This is their full-time work—unlike many instructors at big prep companies—and it shows. They care deeply about their students and the material they’ve created. Their live classes are engaging and memorable: Seth is hilarious and a verbal expert, and Yuri is an exceptional quant teacher. Both of them go out of their way to adjust their teaching to each student’s needs and always offer encouragement along the way. They even offer in-person tutoring in the Bay Area, which is rare—and was absolutely essential for me. I wouldn’t consider any other company for GMAT or GRE prep. TestCrackers is the real deal.

Posting on September 21st, 2025. I joined TestCrackers' GMAT online group course (mainly taught by Seth) already aware of their high quality as accurately described in others' countless reviews and feedback. By the time I finished the courses, my GMAT score went up 100+ points from the mid-500s, a massive jump that brought me considerably closer to my target score. But what I did not expect was that their instruction reached even farther than the scope of the GMAT, addressing core weaknesses in how I approached problems in general. When I gave the GRE a try (less than 1 week prep, cramming some pages of vocab + essay refresher), I earned a 99-percentile score. The GRE test format undoubtedly helped, but the biggest factor of all was TestCrackers who provided the strategies, guidance, and support for me to learn and independently apply to the GRE to success. As I apply for business schools this year, I'm doing so with a confidence not just from a strong test score but also from knowing that I have learned indispensable lessons in problem-solving and self-awareness that will carry me forward in school, career, and beyond. Seth and Yuri go beyond teaching content. They both do this full time, which can't be said for all prep companies, and it's clear that they care deeply about the material that they create and their individual students. They are incredibly engaging in the live classes, Seth is hilarious and incredibly good at verbal, Yuri is such a talented quant teacher, and both work hard to find ways to tailor their teaching style to each student and go out of their way to send words of encouragement when they can. They also offer in-person tutoring in the Bay Area, which is rare, but was essential for me. I wouldn't even consider a different company for GMAT or GRE prep. These guys are the real deal.

I took the quant course for GMAT with Martin and the verbal course with Seth and I absolutely enjoyed both! I have always had problems staying focus on Zoom meetings after 30min but the classes were so engaging and fun that 3 hours just flew by! The instructors are extremely patient and empathetic. Highly recommend to anyone who want to improve their scores on the GMAT test!

I loved this course! I took the verbal section with Marty and the quant section with Andrew, both were amazing! I was really scared to prepare for the GRE, but the class definitely gave me all the direction and help I needed to feel like I could take down this test. The teachers are super empathetic and encouraging and I genuinely had fun in these classes. I was originally worried about it being impersonal since it was on zoom, but the classes were so interactive! I felt engaged throughout the whole class (and they are 3 hours). A month after the verbal course ended, Marty reached out to see how I was doing and took the time to review my practice exams and give me direction on how I can improve on my essays/timing. Andrew took the time to meet with me after the quant class ended to go over my study plan, sending me extra resources and taking time out of his own schedule to give me that extra boost. It's scary ending the class and being on your own, but they did such a great job providing extra support I feel confident I can achieve my goal score. For the quant course there are office hours available too, which are great for getting individual questions answered. Yuri is running most of those now and he's so helpful, plus a pun master. You'll roll your eyes at some jokes, but you'll also be learning tricks of the trade from the GRE master :-). The teachers really care about their students and it makes me so glad I chose to sign up! If you're hesitating, I say you should go for it! You won't regret it!
