I'm so grateful for Kate and her team, I've been a client of Terry Mosely for over 30 years. When Kate bought Terry's accounting firm i was going to leave to find another accountant, but i thank God I took Kellie's advice and stuck around. Let me tell you her team exceeded my expectations. She took this accounting firm and raised it to another level. I love the communication, dedication and zeal that they have for their clients. I really enjoy the online platform that allows me to access files and records, was hard to get used to but when your working with DOS for so long that's to be expected. Its nice to see such a dedicated young lady willing to give so much to her clients, while being a wife and mother. I look forward to spending 30 more years and seeing how she will continue to grow this business. I greatly encourage anyone who needs a CPA with a great team to consider this company
Amazing Group of People to work with!! I was looking for a CPA for my families business and found a small army of people who work great as a team and never leave you hanging with questions! They have gone above and beyond to help me in all of my family’s tax needs. Side note the best Quickbooks training by my Miss Kelli, a person could ever hope for, it was such an intimidating task to switch softwares but the best decision ever!! I sleep much better knowing I have this team of people with me when it comes to tax time!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
My husband and I have never utilized accounting services for fear of being ripped off. However, when we received a notice from the IRS suggesting we owed $25,000 from two years prior we were devastated. When other accounting firms were no longer accepting new clients, Kate and her team welcomed us with open arms. Not only did she fight to get this corrected, but we also received money BACK from the IRS. Needless to say, she has created believers out of us, and we have referred other people to her as well!
BEWARE! I simply requested a backup copy of my bookkeeping records for my business, but Kate refused. Despite paying thousands of dollars for professional services to this firm, which she took over from Terry Mosley CPA, she adamantly denied me access to my own records. These are my books for my company, yet she will not release a copy. I have faithfully paid all my bills on time and was never late. They made thousands of dollars form my two companies. As a result, I was forced to hire another CPA and spent over $2,000 t(SO FAR) to have my chart of accounts recreated and all the bookkeeping reentered. This could have been easily avoided, but instead, I am left with unnecessary costs and frustration. I have already filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau (BBB). I will also filing a complaint with the Oklahoma Accountancy Board. BEWARE: If you are a customer, understand the fact that you do NO OWN YOUR OWN BOOKKEEPING records. Kate does! If you decide to leave her firm, you will be forced to have all of your business records recreated at great expense. I have never in my life written a bad review or complained in the public forum. However, I believe it is my duty to WARN OTHERS! If you value transparency and ethical business practices, I strongly advise you to look elsewhere.
We been working with Kate Horn and her team at the Accounting Nook for personal tax filing. Her team is extremely responsive, organized, efficient and tech savvy. Kate in particular has deep domain expertise and is excellent at communication. She and her tax manager Mark, provided a great service. We obtained excellent advice on how to decrease our tax liability and this managed to save us even more than we originally thought. Very happy so far, We will continue to use their services going forward. Finally no more shopping around for a new ‘tax person’.
