I was super excited to try this food because my mom had been raving about it for a while. I drove two hours to take my mom out to eat and this was what she wanted me to try. We ordered chicharron con tostones, a dinner plate, alcapuria, and a pastelillo for $80.The alcapuria was good, pastelillo was try, chicharrones were a little too salty, and the tostones were definitely from another day and refried (super hard,dry, and extremely oily) and the yuca was mushy. I was very disappointed and my mom was embarrassed that that was her recommendation. I could have taken her absolutely anywhere for that price or even more…none the less I personally would never buy food from here again and I’m pretty sure my mom and her husband will never recommend or go there again either. Those that know know that I grew up in the very same food industry and you really do only get one chance to impress some people.

In my opinion, The pork leg was good ✅ The mofongo had no flavor ❌ The rice tasted good but was mushy.

One of my favorite trucks dance it was four blocks away from my house, but finding out that they moved to another location made me sad 😔

The rice was delicious, everything was great, and the rice pudding was exquisite.
