This so far has been a wonderful place for my dog to go. It is convenient on my way to work, great hours, and has a groomer plus vet. They sent me pics on Lukas first day with his new friend. If you are midtown then this is a great place for your dogs needs.
My Padmé absolutely loves the Bark Park! She recognizes the place when we turn the corner and starts to jump up and down in the car. Once in the lobby, she can hardly wait to get inside to play with her friends. She loves the staff and so do I! Great people who take excellent care of my Golden Retriever puppy!
*We recently adopted an amazing dog named Lobo about five months ago. After bringing him home, we had to get all his shots updated and schedule his neuter - so doggy daycare had to wait. From the beginning, we knew we wanted him in a structured, safe environment with good supervision. We're not fans of chaotic dog parks, so we did our research and checked out several dog daycares in the area. That's when we found The Bark Park Resort -- and honestly, we're so glad we did. The front staff has been super friendly, welcoming, and clearly loves dogs. I haven't met the full team yet, but the vibes have been nothing but positive. Drop-off and pickup have both been smooth and easy, which we definitely appreciate as busy dog parents. Lobo just completed his longest day yet and even got to celebrate the 4th of July with a full-on pup party. He came home tired, happy, and ready to crash - exactly what we hoped for. It's clear he's getting the socialization and structure he needs in a place that truly cares. We're looking forward to more visits at Bark Park and watching Lobo continue to thrive.
I recently had the pleasure of boarding my dogs at The Bark Park Pet Resort & Daycare, and I truly can’t say enough good things about the experience! I moved to Las Vegas a while back, but whenever I traveled to California for family or work, I always relied on Sycamore Lane Kennels in Lodi. My family had been boarding and training dogs there for decades, so it was hard to imagine trusting anyone else. Unfortunately, Sycamore was completely booked (again) and I needed a place on short notice for a work trip. I was honestly nervous to try somewhere new, but The Bark Park was absolutely amazing from start to finish. The facility itself is beautiful and exceptionally clean—no overwhelming scent of urine or that stale kennel smell you sometimes find elsewhere. Each dog suite was spotless, well maintained, and set up to feel cozy and secure. All the dogs looked relaxed and comfortable. Booking was effortless, and the staff were so understanding and considerate, especially given how last-minute my reservation was. They really knew how to make my Shiba Inu’s feel comfortable and engaged and took the time to explain all my options and made sure my dogs would be as comfortable as possible. I chose their Luxury Villa accommodations, along with daily individual playtime sessions and baths at the end of their stay. Communication throughout was fantastic, and I especially appreciated the daily photos of my dogs playing and relaxing. Those updates were such a relief and helped ease any worry about trying a new place. I also loved knowing that The Bark Park is connected to a veterinary clinic—having immediate access to care if anything came up was a huge comfort, especially being out of state. I do have to admit the overall cost was not cheap, but I genuinely feel the experience was worth every penny if you’re looking for luxury boarding. The level of care, attention, and professionalism here far exceeded what I’ve experienced anywhere else. When I picked my dogs up, they were calm, clean, and clearly happy—no stress or anxiety whatsoever. It can be difficult to trust a new facility when you’ve been established elsewhere for years, but The Bark Park has absolutely earned my trust and my business going forward. I would not hesitate to board my dogs here again. If you’re looking for a place in Sacramento that combines spotless facilities, knowledgeable staff, and true compassion for your pets, I’d highly recommend!!
Can’t say enough good things about The Bark Park. Our dogs absolutely love coming here! While they haven’t stayed overnight, they go to daycare consistently and have had a great experience every time. The staff is incredibly friendly, responsive, and always willing to accommodate us—even for last-minute bookings, which we’re so grateful for. The facility is new, beautiful, clean, and thoughtfully run. We also love the extra touches, like the fun dog parties and themed days.
