I needed a cake for a very dear friend’s birthday (on a Saturday). She’s moving, so I wanted Texas wildflowers to be the theme. Hannah helped me get all the info in stat, and I gave an example photo. Within hours Hannah called to say my cake was ready! But more than the fast and friendly work, the cake was gorgeous and PERFECT! She didn’t want to cut it - it was too pretty. She finally did and proclaimed how delicious it was. She said it was the most beautiful cake she had ever had! The Bread Box is Team Awesome
The Breadbox is one of those lovely tucked away gems that I love just for the ambiance alone. It's really just a bonus that their food happens to be next-level amazing. And I don't mean in a, "Yeah, it was good, I might go back some day" kind of way. I mean, MY EYES ROLL BACK IN MY HEAD every time I take a bite, level of delicious. Their smashburger is SO GOOOD. But the real MVP, their cupcakes!!! I brought some to a party a few years ago and my friends STILL talk about them. Since then, they've catered my cousin's wedding and MANYYY events. Everyone always comments on how great the food and desserts always are. We have never had a single issue. 11/10 recommend. Anybody that says differently is missing the plot and probably shouldn't be someone you're taking advice from anyway. Just sayinggg! 😊 Note: This is an honest review, because I feel compelled to set any negative record straight. I don't know these people personally, I just know what my stomach says and what my experience has been with their customer service.
We love The Bread Box. We have eaten there quite a few times and the food is always delicious! But my very favorite part are the baked goods…from muffins to sour dough bread to cookies of all kinds. I highly recommended a slice of pie (any of the flavors, it is hard to decide). But the cherry on top is their English muffins!! Whether you order a meal using them or buy some to take home (or both!) they are the best! I always stock up and keep them in my freezer so I never run out. So if you are looking for a cozy, friendly place to enjoy a great meal and pick up some goodies to take home, check out The Bread Box!
Bread Box is a quirky spot, with a winding, cramped layout, and a patio that would benefit from a power wash. We tried the crispy chicken sandwich and the egg and bacon breakfast. The bread (bun and toast) was good, and the chocolate chip cookie that came with the chicken sandwich was baked perfectly and scrumptious. Unfortunately, the restaurant's chicken supplier is doing the Box - and diners - a disservice. The breaded chicken breast was sinewy, and difficult to chew. This was a shame, because the flavor was solid - a bit of spice and savory. The eggs and bacon were good but underwhelming, as was the oversized marshmallow square we added on last minute. Unfortunately, I can't recommend the Bread Box.
Such an adorable place you can't help but wander in and it's filled with delicious fresh baked goods and a restaurant with amazing food. It's so fun to stop in and get some tea and a bite to eat while shopping here. Pictured is bread pudding French toast, also got the smash burger and it was dang good! Took some muffins from the bakery home, delicious. Such a fun place you won't regret stopping by!
