Was having such a fun day until I stopped by Deadrise London. I was taking pictures of the Japanese magazines they had, which was very exciting to me as it’s something I can’t find easily. The girl at the till said “you could at least ask to take pictures” in the most unfriendly tone. There was no sign stating that we can’t take pictures without permission, and no other person but me was in the pictures. Why ruin my excitement? What’s the point of curate such nice shop if you won’t let people like me appreciate it with photos? If I was her I’d be smiling to see someone admiring what’s in the shop. Treat costumers better @namedroksi…
This is such an amazing place! My teenage daughter and I spent three days in London. We visited Bricklane Vintage Market on our last day and really loved it! Especially the mixture of art, fashion and food is really nice. You can spend hours (and a lot of money :-)) here. We highly recommend this place!
This is a vintage market I’ve visited occasionally for the past twenty years. When I was younger, I used to come here to enjoy stylish clothes with a youthful sense of fashion. But as I’ve grown older and started a family, I tended to buy brand-new items rather than vintage, so I didn’t feel the need to come here. Visiting New York and Paris recently reminded me of the unique charm of vintage, so I decided to return. However, to my eyes, there are more items displayed just to fill the space than truly useful or valuable pieces, which makes treasure-hunting very difficult. The smell of old clothes and the stale air was quite exhausting. If you’re planning to spend a long time searching for treasures, it’s a good idea to wear a mask and step outside now and then to refresh yourself.
The place is awesome for shopping and exploring. Ground floor has different cuisine small stalls and you can have variety in food. Downstairs you can find vintage clothes, jewellery, purses and many more things. Make sure to keep this place in your wish lists. It’s really nice.
A vibrant and exciting market with a wide variety of vintage shops—great for finding unique clothes and accessories. I really enjoyed exploring all the different stalls. I just wish there were more options for vintage furniture and home decor. Still, definitely worth a visit!
