Butcher’s Table has a great ambiance. The restaurant is well designed and comforting upon entry. The staff were all warm and inviting, which made for a lovely lunch. The steak tartare had a beautiful presentation, and while I’ve had better at finer establishments, I’d definitely order this again. I loved the steak being diced over mashed, and the toppings came together perfectly without overpowering each other. It was paired with house maid chips cooked in beef tallow, which complemented the tartare beautifully. I ordered the Butcher’s Steak with a side salad (though, I saw the beef tallow house fries and they looked TASTY!). The steak was not cooked as rare as I’d have liked, but it was still tasty. The salad was simple but good as well. Overall, Butcher’s Table is a good place for lunch or dinner for those who want a good steak meal without the ultra fine-dining experience.
The food was grate😋we genuinely enjoyed the meal. One dish that lets you try multiple cuts of steak in one order is such a great idea💡perfect if you want variety without committing to just one. Also, do not skip the $6 bread. Trust me👍order at least two. It’s ridiculously good and easily one of the best bites of the night. The smoked salmon was also excellent, with a very rich, well-balanced smoky flavor that didn’t feel overpowering. However, the service felt a bit off. As a group of Asian diners, we couldn’t help but notice that our white female server seemed noticeably impatient with us. Nothing outright rude, just a tone and attitude that made us feel slightly uncomfortable and less welcomed. Hopefully the service can be more professional and patient, because great food paired with equally attentive, welcoming service is what truly makes a dining experience feel complete!
4.5 stars. We had tasting flight.....filet mignon was our favorite. Also ordered bone marrow that was good. Great service.
The staff and our waiter, Wade, were knowledgeable, attentive, and kind. The atmosphere was nice and I personally enjoyed the low light setting. We got oysters and prawns (off menu) for an appetizer. We ordered potatoes with arugula to pair with our ribeye and New York steaks. We asked for wine that would pair well with our steaks and aligned with our preferences, the wine did not disappoint. We finished our meal with the delicious blueberry mint sorbet for dessert. Expect 40-45 minutes for your steak as they cook on a wood stove, but it’s well worth the wait. Our medium-rare steaks were cooked perfectly. We will absolutely be back!
I can confidently say this is the best steakhouse we’ve been to in the U.S. The quality of the steaks was outstanding, and the grilled chicken was the best we’ve ever had. My kids absolutely loved it! The bone marrow was incredible, the fries were perfectly seasoned, and the salmon was cooked to perfection. The staff were very friendly, and the atmosphere made the experience even better. I highly recommend making a reservation in advance—especially if your party has more than four people—to ensure a smooth and enjoyable visit. Update: We visited the restaurant again for dinner and had a wonderful experience. The menu offered great options, and William, our host, was once again very welcoming. Be sure to reserve a table in advance, as the restaurant tends to get busy.
