Can’t say how much I love this place. Not only do they have such a great variety of equipment for purchase and rent, but their prices as SOOO reasonable. You can even rent the back room for shoots for $30! The real reason I’m writing this review is because the staff and management here are amazing. They are humans first, not a corporation trying to nickel and dime you. They are so knowledgeable, friendly, and enjoyable to speak with. I have cut all ties with the other camera shop in town and exclusively shop here now. Thank you Camera Exhange!
My framing order from Images of Austin wasn’t ready so I went for a walk. Not far away I found the Camera Exchange. The store was attractive and the inventory was impressive for its small size. The staff members were very friendly. The next time I need camera equipment I will certainly go there.
I moved my wedding photography business to Austin three years ago, and the team at Camera Exchange was my first real connection to the photo community here. They helped me transition to an entirely new system - deciding what gear would be best for me, renting equipment to try out, selling my old setup, buying all new. They never rushed me or made me feel like I was asking too many questions. They truly supported me through every step, and I cannot say enough good things about the team and their knowledge. As a business owner, having a resource like Camera Exchange that I can trust gives me such a sense of security. If you’re looking for a place to explore the world of photography, this is it. Austin is really lucky to have them :)
This place is AMAZING!! I let go of my Canon setup and DJI drone to this wonderfully welcoming group and they offered me an incredibly good price and were even kind enough to haggle with me. I will be turning all of my business toward the Camera Exchange on burnet simply because these folks know what they are talking about and have a very thorough inspection system so you always know you’re getting good properly functioning camera gear!! Thank you so much!!
What a great store! Johnny was fantastic to work with. We brought in some cameras to sell and they gave us a very fair price. Worth the trip and so much easier than selling these ourselves. He even gave us an awesome recommendation for a place to grab lunch. Thank you a wonderful experience! 10 stars!!!
