I really love this painting studio. I am new to painting as an adult and this place just made it so accessible for me. Allowing my inner artist to come forward without focus on outcome is a beautiful and challenging experience. I deeply appreciate what this studio is doing and looking forward to making more room in my life to continue to explore here!

I had a private class for my birthday this year with a bunch of friends at the Center for Creative Exploration. The process of coordinating it was super easy with the team being very responsive on email. The party itself was so much fun! Everyone really enjoyed the unique space, the great teachers and doing something fun and different! The studio was super accommodating of my two toddler buddies (~2 y/o) setting up paper for them at their height to let them paint too! We had enough time to paint a few painting as well as hang out and enjoy the studio space which was really great. Would highly recommend doing a party or team event here for people of any age or ability! It’ll definitely be a memorable experience! Thank you, Maria!!

My two kids attended the 8-week painting program. Such a special place, quiet and intentional. The teachers really pay attention, care and help kids get back to their intuitive creative selves. It’s not about the product, it’s about the journey of pure self expression. Recommend a million times over.

I never thought I was very creative based off past art classes I had tried, but after taking my first Intro/Community class at The Center for Creative Exploration, I discovered so much delight, joy and freedom in the intuitive painting process here! The community and the teachers, Claudia and Maria, are so welcoming, supportive and kind. Painting here is a safe, inclusive and nonjudgemental space to explore, create and connect. Claudia and Maria are expert teachers who are attuned, compassionate, and gifted in their guidance. As a recovering perfectionist, I have felt such a sense of freedom in the process of creating without focusing on the outcome or result of what my painting looks like. Instead of getting caught up in my mind, the intuitive painting process helps me practice listening to my body, honoring my pace, and "not knowing" is never a problem. It feels like a revolutionary act to be able to truly create just for myself. It's fun, joyful, freeing, and has been such a supportive and expansive practice for me to hold all of life and it's transitions - the unknown, grief and loss, as well as wonder, deep reverence, and play. Every class is a gem. I couldn't recommend the teachers, community and the studio more!
