The Classic Catering People are exceptional! We recently partnered with Classic Catering People (To Go) for our annual holiday gathering, and they exceeded every expectation. This is an annual intimate gathering that didn't require servers. The variety of offerings was impressive, the presentation (set up by the Classic "to go" staff) was beautiful, and most importantly — every bite was absolutely delicious! Our guests raved about the food throughout the evening, and it truly elevated our event. The Classic Catering People team was professional, attentive, and a joy to work with from planning through execution. Classic Catering People helped make our celebration feel festive, warm, and memorable. We are so grateful for their excellence and can’t wait to work with them again. Highly recommended!
Classic Catering turned hosting 42 people into a joy—delicious food, zero stress, 10/10 recommend! They made our Thanksgiving absolutely effortless! With 42 guests at four tables, Ellen and her incredible team handled everything—except my mom’s stuffing—and it was perfection. Instead of cooking all day, I simply warmed their amazing dishes: the hors d’oeuvres, turkey and gravy, all the sides, and desserts were outstanding. I actually got to enjoy the holiday!
I had such a wonderful experience working with Ellen and The Classic Catering People for my bridal shower at the Maryland Zoo. From the very beginning, Ellen made the whole process so easy and enjoyable. She took the time to really listen to what I wanted, answered all of my questions, and never once made me feel rushed. I felt like she genuinely cared about making sure everything turned out perfectly. Ellen helped me choose foods that were not only delicious but also perfect for an outdoor event. She thought about the weather, the timing, and what would work best for our guests. She also guided me in ordering just the right amount, which I really appreciated—we had plenty of food without feeling like we went overboard. The menu had a great variety, and everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. On the day of the shower, I had so many people compliment the food. Everyone was impressed with how tasty it all was, and several guests even asked who catered the event. It was such a relief to know that part of the day was completely taken care of, and I could just relax and enjoy celebrating with my family and friends. I can’t thank Ellen and Classic Catering enough for helping make my bridal shower such a special and memorable day. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for high-quality catering with amazing service. 10/10!
While I baked my own brisket, I did not have time to make sides, desserts or a full Rosh Hashanah luncheon so I called Classic. The outstanding mashed potatoes tasted homemade. The chicken salad and corned beef were wonderful, and the Caesar salad was amazing. I would’ve liked a little bit more sweetness to the chopped liver, but it was still devoured by my family. Looking forward to my Yom Kippur platters this week. Thank you for making my life as a working mom of four children so much easier during the holidays!
I highly recommend The Classic Catering People!! We got married at the George Peabody Library last month and everything was well executed; the food was delicious (our guests LOVED the food), the staff was so professional and helpful, and everything ran smoothly on our wedding night! Lynn was our account executive/ coordinator and I can't thank her enough for being so kind and helpful throughout this process. I felt very comfortable with Lynn since our first phone call and were so grateful for her advice and attention to detail. She is extremely knowledgeable and you can tell she has many years of experience in the wedding/catering business! 10/10!
