What to say about Bronte? Haircuts: fantastic. Hair colour: stellar. Conversation and giggles: 10/10. If, like me, you love sitting in the salon having bright, hilarious chats with a genuinely fantastic human and leaving the salon feeling like you just walked out of an Herbal Essences commercial—Bronte is definitely your girl.
My husband got me a birthday gift certificate to have my hair styled. Im avery apprehensive about having my hair cut as I have bad ones most times . I have not had my hair cut in 6-7 years because i do not trust hairdressers. ! Mt hair was long all one length, and I thought maybe some long layers and face shaping to freshen up my look would be nice . I brought pictures and videos and expressed i didn't really want bangs or anything short or harsh lines. And i still wanted to be abke to use my curling irons What I got was a complete hack job. I went home very upset thinking maybe if I washed and styled it my myself I coukd make it work . This is not the case . There is nothing I can do to change the look until it grows out . It is horrible, the only way to make it look better would be to spends hundreds of dollars for extensions until it grows out enough. I am very dissapointed , I had great long hair I could style many ways , just needed some movement and freshen up. I now feel unattractive, zero confidence and wish I did not even have it cut. And at this point im done hairdressers Ill trim it myself when it finally grows out. When someone says they dont go to hairdressers bcuz of bad cuts i wish they would just listen and start with minimal cutting . A few face framing layers should be somthing a qualified hairdresser should be able to do without drastic and terrible cut lines. The young lady was pleasant and i hate to complain but its somthing I can't live with , its that bad ! I won't recommend and i will never go back. It is unfixable My hair before and the hack job after
I highly recommend Bobbie Jean. She’s a true hair artist and a mind reader to boot! I couldn’t quite relay with words how I wanted my hair to look, but she did it exactly right!
Okay, I've been avoiding this as I don't like giving bad reviews, but it's necessary. In September 10 I had a haircut booked with Chelsey, and she pretty much ruined my hair. She was incredibly lovely, sweet, and professional. This has nothing to do with her personally or the way I got treated, is about the service they provide that did not meet what I asked. From beginning I said how nervous I was, how I had terrible experiences with people cutting my curly hair and not doing what I wanted, so she assured me she had experience with textured hair, and suggested this curly cut, where they cut your hair wet, following the curl patterns. She seemed like she knew what she was doing, and I trusted it. What I asked for was cascade effect layers, not too close to each other in the front so it doesn't get too puffy. I even said I don't mind if the first layer is a bit shorter- close to my chin- as long as they have some distance between them to create that cascade effect. And instead, this is what I got. No shape whatsoever, the front layer somehow is longer than a few in the back. I have no idea what she did, but is not what I asked for. I strained the hair to show the cut I got, but when I see it natural, I want to cry. It took me so long to grow it back from the previous haircut I got, and now I'll have to do it all over again. I'm an actor, I had headshots booked that I had to cancel, my birthday that was 2 weeks after this appointment, I had my hair up on a ponytail and avoided taking pictures. I got a refund from this chewed up cut I got, but this should stay there as a warning for wavy/curly hair girls. For the price they charge, this is unacceptable.
Bronte always nails the style my kiddo shows her on her phone, she really picky, she wont let anyone else touch her hair but Bronte. Its our second visit with her and we will return again :)
