I had my introductory lesson tonight and had so much fun! My instructor Liz was super welcoming and friendly, and made sure I understood each set of moves and was comfortable before moving on to the next combo. Had so much fun! So excited to come back!
My Instructor Shianne was very friendly, welcoming, and patient with me on my first intro dance lesson last night! :) Coincidentally, we even both knew lots of dance friends and professors together from our former college at HCC located at the Ybor city campus. She’s really talented in her teachings and dance skills and i’d totally recommend her to anyone who’s interested in doing the Lyrical, Contemporary, Jazz, Modern etc. types of dances! I’m more than excited and happy to work with her in our private lessons together and see how much improvements that i’ll be able to make in the near future! Thanks “The Dance Den Studio” for helping me find such an amazing place to get back into dancing again! Especially as an outlet that i’ve been trying to find to help me with my Mental Health!
I decided to get back into dance after being out of it for quite some time and I’m so glad I found The Dance Den. This studio is super chill, zero pressure, and perfect for any adult dancer looking to just have fun and/or occasionally perform. They do a great job with their schedules by offering basically every type of dance classes you could imagine and their instructors are all wonderful. I took my intro class with Alexis and she is just the best best best! I’ve been taking my weekly privates with Travis and he’s already taught me so much and makes it so fun. Thank you Dance Den for reigniting my love for dance and being the best part of my week!
Tonight I surprised my wife for our 27th anniversary with an introductory dance lesson. It was my first time taking a lesson but our first time together. Our instructor Archi was very patient with us and walked us through the Rumba dance step by step. If you’re a beginner like myself I definitely recommend Archi and this dance studio. We plan to go back again. What a little workout and so much fun.
Found this place based on local reviews since I used to dance and I wanted to get back into it for fun. Tried a $25 “dance class” tonight. My instructor X was great!!! Great personality and seems like a great dance instructor-has much impressive dance experience! However, very disappointed that first timers only get to learn a few fragments of dances and it’s not a whole routine. I am in my mid-20’s and was just looking to try a fun local hip hop class near me, but sadly it wasn’t what I expected. After the half hour one on one of doing little fragments of dance, they push the membership. Seems like this place is just for those who truly want to work on their technique not just dance classes.
