Christine is the real deal. We brought her in to help us with our two new rescue puppies, and she made everything feel doable instead of overwhelming. Her explanations are super clear, her guidance is kind yet straightforward, and she somehow gets both humans and puppies on the same page. The pups responded immediately to her approach, and we left feeling like, “OK, we’ve actually got this.” The progress we saw in just one one-hour session was legit, and we are excited to practice everything we learned. If you want a trainer who teaches you as much as your dogs, she’s your person.
Avoid at all costs. They are the most expensive dog watching location by far (well over $50 a day), and despite this are not safe. My dog was attacked by another dog during her 4 days stay, sustaining bite marks on her eye and paw, then we we’re lied to about the severity (they had to carry her to the car). They have refused to return our calls since the incident, I have left 2 messages and called 4 times in the last week without any response. If you care about your pet, go somewhere else.
The Dog Stop goes above and beyond for us, and we could not be more grateful! We have a 230lb Saint Bernard, and he absolutely loves going to The Dog Stop. Not only were they able to give him a bath, but they even threw him a birthday party while we were away on our last trip! All staff here are incredible, kind to us, and extremely loving to our beloved Mosey. Thank you guys so much for all that you do. We strongly recommend The Dog Stop to anyone in need of daycare/boarding!
I can't say enough positive things about the dog stop - Strip District! I had recently rescued a shelter dog, that has a lot of energy so I figured daycare a couple days a week would be good for him. I had learned that he takes some time to warm up to other dogs, so I wasn't sure how daycare would go. Every single staff member was so understanding and more than willing to accommodate my dog despite the extra attention he may need. I'm so thankful for them and for the patience they've had with him. We started out just doing 1-2 hours sessions and now he's there for 5 hours. Now when we pull into the parking lot my dog gets so excited, and when I pick him up he looks so happy! Its a good feeling dropping off your dog knowing he's in good hands!
This is the only kennel I feel comfortable with boarding my pup at. It's safe, hygienic, loving, and well-maintained. The staff take the very best care of him! They make sure he receives meals according to my instructions, is comfortable in his 'room' and give him all the breaks he needs if he gets overwhelmed while socializing during daycare. They will give me pup-dates during his stay and even send photos if I request them! Don't take your chances going anywhere else! 😊
